In Celebration of Father's Day, ask my muse anything about his/her father.
In Response to “Regarding AzAn”
So as some of you might now be aware, the guild <Azerothian Antiquities> is no more. This was the guild I was in, and there are a LOT of thoughts fluttering around at the moment about what happened, who’s to blame, etc. I’m voicing my thoughts in my own post because I’m not going to give the other post a reblog; if you want to read it, you’ll go find it, but in my opinion it doesn’t deserve a reblog.
I’d like to give my thoughts on the matter since people seem to be getting the thoughts and opinions of one person and are latching on to it. I’d also like to state here that this is what I know, so some things may not line up.

This will not be as eloquent as Cad’s post, but here are my thoughts on the matter:
Lol, half of y’all weren’t even active and the other half RPed with two people TOPS. May sound a bit hypocritical coming from me as far as the limited RPing goes, but I can count on a single hand how many of you guys actually wanted to do ANYTHING when I’d say something in guild chat (whether it was Heroics, LFR, Transmog runs, RP, really anything except for PvP because I suck at it and have never been a big PvPer). It’s just odd how all of you are distraught about this when over the past few weeks I saw a handful of you online and actually doing things with fellow guildies. I don’t know everything that went on, and I know that the officers did hold an event which I could not attend (work sucks, I know). I do commend the officers for making the event and trying to start RP though, I heard it was fun. Regardless, don’t see the point in being so melodramatic about this like it’s the end of the world. Have honestly been considering leaving AzAn since I came back from school any way because I know less than half of you and no one seems to want to do anything. Am I being insensitive? Yes. Am I a dick? Yes. Are all of y’all also dicks? Yeah. Don’t know your life stories but most people are (it’s k fam).

♂ What do you think of the man Candius has become?
Proud green eyes loomed over the water to the mainland. Here, on his isle, he was king.
“Candius, you ask? Disappointment is an understatement.”
A dark chuckle rang out from the man’s chest. The air lingered in the evening sun as glass met lips coolly and carefully. The violet-red liquid disappeared from its gilded container.
“His mother, his sister, and I all agree that there are so many things Candius could have been. Instead, he chose to be an imbecile. The boy, and I say boy because no one in their right mind would deem his reckless behavior indicative of a man, thinks himself an outlaw, a smuggler. He is not but a half-rate pirate. And further, he spends his days chasing after women and flaunting supposed prowess. The boy, as I said, is an imbecile.”
A sigh split the elf’s thoughts. Idle hands swirled the wine about in its glass, and fel green eyes moved to follow the course of the liquid.
“Everything I ever did was for this family. All of it was for him. Yet here we are today, in a world where my son calls himself ‘Fairwind’ instead of his rightful name, as though he were some story book character. Perhaps I was a bit too hard on him, perhaps we were not strict enough! His sister turned out fine. Already she’s made improvements within the family enterprise while Candius has been off playing ‘adventure’. He could have been a Lord! With land, title, wealth, control of a trade empire even, Candius could have lived easily, yet it was all for not.”
“More than anything, Lady Goldenbough and I want Candius to return to us, if only to speak briefly. I-, well, she misses him. She and I have both tried writing him, however it is futile. From what his sister tells me, he doesn’t even bother reading anything from either of us - rips the letters upon arrival. I still find Lady Goldenbough upon the balcony that was his on late, sleepless nights.”
“The single thing that I admire about this, all of this, is his desperate thirst for independence. Not once has he asked anyone in this family for the slightest turn of favor. I respect it, truly. He has become his own man, and whatever I may say about him, he has secured himself enough freedom to be unhindered by my, or really anyone’s, words.”
Another sigh pressed out from the man’s lips as he leaned forward in his seat, watching the small waves crash against the rock of his land.
Send me a ♂ and a question and my muse's father will answer it.
Well. This might be pretty interesting.
