Growing up in Echo Isle things like magic always seemed possible if not probably. There had been strange happenings for as long as she could remember. She’d always felt happy with her life here but longed for more. Beyond her home was a world with all sorts of questions and possibilities. Allison wasn’t sure if she’d ever feel like something exciting happened around here the older she got. Well, that was until the Dennison’s moved there. She met Max in class where he tried to give her his number to which she politely declined, returning it to him. All the things she found exciting he didn’t even believe to be true. Even if it wasn’t exactly as it was told she found something beautiful in the bewilderment. Then after showing up to her parents yearly party they took her on the adventure of a lifetime in outrunning the Sanderson Sisters. She couldn’t believe it, all the things she’d been reading was right in front of her face but also out for souls. After returning that night she’d learned a few things: one, that Max wasn’t that bad after all and two, she had to make sure things like this didn’t happen again. In fact, Allison became even more interested in studying lore and even that outside of Echo Isle. After graduation she knew exactly what she needed to do which was travel the world in exploration of that same lore she’d been studying. She not only wanted to learn and research but help keep people safe from this magic among them. It was an incomplete dream though, Max deciding to not come with her. That had always been the thing between them was her belief in the strange outside of Echo Isle and Max had enough of what was right here. So she left but throughout her travels she never forgot him. She made sure to write to Dani postcards and little gifts whenever she’d find something she knew she’d like. Allison always knew she’d come back eventually but wasn’t expecting it to be like this. There had been a lot of peculiar happenings that looked a lot like magic around Echo Isle and she’s returned to check it out. Not mention she’s been feeling a little strange lately, something calling her back home.
She sees Dani as a little sister of her own which is another reason why it had been so difficult to leave. Allison wasn’t sure if she’d want to keep talking to her after the breakup but was happy to learn she did. In fact, she might be the only
Halloween is her favorite time of year. It’s when she feels like people can sometimes be the most themselves. Even though it also holds quite a terrifying night she’s glad it all happened. That’s how she got to meet Max and Dani so she’d do it all over again if she needed to.
Allison thinks she might want to stay in Echo Isle, missing the place she’d called home after spending so long traveling. There is something about it that just feels right. She isn’t sure if it’s the place, the people, or both.
She works writing articles about her findings and their tie to historical events. Some of her research is actually quite respected though she isn’t one to ever talk about her success. In reality, Allison just wants people to know the truth and is happy to hear some are listening.
Keeping magic safe from people and vice versa is something that she is really driven by. She doesn’t think all magic is bad but wants to make sure people are ready to hear it, knowing it could be overwhelming.
There hasn’t really been anyone in her life since Max, instead she threw herself into her work. She didn’t have time for anything like that and in all honesty, she didn’t want to.
Now that she’s back Allison is thinking about becoming a history teacher and stopping travel all together but she isn’t if she truly is ready to settle down yet.
