This AU happens when PB finds Fern instead of Gumbald at the end of Three Buckets. Candy Knight, as Fern is dubbed, works for PB to keep the candy citizens safe while tensions rise between her and Gumbald, but much more slowly than in the original universe because Gumbald doesn’t have his knight and is struggling to make his candy people both loyal and smart. CK and Finn often have to work together on missions and Finn does not know that CK is Fern. CK is more cheerful and sarcastic than Green Knight in canon but is still moody and competitive and violent.
