“Man, I’m glad I’m not part of that. Can hear that shit all the way from Hueco Mundo.”
Surprise my muse with a kiss.
A peck, a smooch, a full on french-snog. See how they blush.
She smirked a tad as Aza expressed her agreement with Cocoa. She supposed that was as good a name as any to assign to the little thing for now, though she’d ask what Aza wanted to call them later. For now she had a request to fulfill.
With a light nod of her head, she leaned in, once more invading the woman’s internal space as her hand reached up and curled around the woman’s neck to pull them once more into a kiss, those soft lips once more finding Aza’s as she took a bit more enjoyment out of it this time, now that she knew it was safe to do so.
"Hey, you're good at this-" She was cut off as Ajora kissed her again. Not as surprised this time, she reciprocated, placing her hands on the shorter woman's shoulders and pressing her lips back against Ajora's.
Man, this was nice. She'd never done this before. Sure, she'd had sex before, but... this was different. It was a warm feeling in her chest, and more like the middle part, not the usual place.
She sighed contentedly before pulling away, big brown eyes staring into Ajora's red. "Why the shit haven't we done this before? I mean, I knew you were inta me."
It was somewhat cute. Seeing the woman’s shift in expression and demeanor in response to her having managed to calm herself. She WAS a calm person after all, was it really so unusual that she had such command over her own emotions.
When the woman finally pulled back, she allowed it, releasing them as they stared (slightly) up at her. Ajora smiled, giving them a few moments to collect themselves before a wolf whistle piped in from Aza’s shoulder. The little bird had naturally seen everything. The little thing was already begining to develop a sense of humor it seemed.
"Well then, was it everything you’d hoped for? Or should we go again until you are satisfied?"
"You're damn right, little guy." She nodded, grinning. She couldn't keep a smile off of her face at this point. It was the strangest thing.
Aza stared down at Ajora, getting a little distracted by her lips, now that she knew exactly what they felt like. And for a moment, she mused. It was amazing that someone so small and apparently frail could have such an entirely gigantic effect on her.
"Hey, you want to hit me with another of those? I've got nothing but time."
And if she could manage, she was going to give Ajora the kind of kiss that she was really good at.
She could not believe what the woman was saying. Well she could, but even so it was somewhat uncomfortable for her. She had always figured she would say such thigns but hearing them made her surprised none the less. She conceded to her fate of verbal torment, though at the sudden question, which sounded rather like a request, she paused.
"Ahhh. So I see." She murmured, her anxiety seeming to lift on it’s own as she stepped foreward, reaching up to lightly place an armored palm upon the woman’s cheek. She allowed Az a moment to consider what it was they had invited upon themselves. Ajora leaned in and brought her lips to her friend’s, stepping in, her own foot breaching the other arrancar’s stance as her hand moved from her cheek to slide around their neck, pulling them in close as she gave the woman what she’d asked for.
If there was anything that Azalea wasn't expecting, it was for Ajora to suddenly adopt a more calm, domineering demeanor as soon as the possibility of a kiss came up. Maybe she had more experience then Aza had been giving her credit for, and it certainly showed as the (slightly) taller Arrancar let out a noise that could only signify her confusion and surprise at the shift in dynamic.
She pulled back after a moment, her face flushed.
"Woah."
She was pleased to find that Aza understood her, and quite well at that! The woman had grasped the fundamentals and even come to realizzation as to the scope of her capabilities, earning the woman a pleased nod and a smile.
"Naturally, yes. Suffice to say it is quite handy." She responded, that is until that devilish smile crept across her friend’s face and a much more meaningful aspect of her gift was brought to light. Needless to say it brought a wonderful hue of scarlet to the armored arrancar’s face.
"W-well I mean… I….technically yes. I mean…" She sputtered before taking a slight cleansing breath, attempting to recover from her slightly frazzled state brought on by Aza’s observation.
"You fancy me!" Azalea chuckled loudly, practically bursting with laughter. Granted. She had known this for a while. But it was hilarious the way that Ajora was getting so embarrassed about it.
"So what, you gonna give me a fuckin' kiss, or what?" C'mon, you gay bastard. Give her a kiss. You're already giving her part of your soul. What's a little sugar?
She had prepared for such a reaction. Well she had prepared for a great many reactions. Violence. Shock. Confusion. Fear. So many things.
Curiosity? Well it was not the worst of responses to the unknown. And certainly the woman was due some answers if anything.
"It is actually two abilities. First, materials that are caught within my ring that are nonliving are subjugated. I gain control of them, and they then belong to me. My second ability, is to fracture myself, and plant a shard into material that I have subjugated, and from which takes root and blooms into life. It is…. both simple, and rather complex." She noted as she gently ran an armored finger along the underside of the little bird’s chin before the little thing flew up and to her shoulder, those tiny little wings were like a hummingbird’s: Propulsing it’s substantial weight with an audible buzzing noise.
"When I am not ressurected it is restricted to very small scales. But it is what I have. Suffice to say, it took me a while to figure out how to defend myself with it." She stated with a light shrug of her shoulders.
"Huh." It was a bit complicated, but Aza felt that she understood it. She can control nonliving things with her mind, and she can animate them with bits of her soul.
"So you could make big golems and stuff to fight for ya, too?" That'd be pretty wild, like making a team all your own. But then, of course, the other implication of the gift came to her mind, and a smile grew across her face.
"You're givin' me part of your soul to keep me safe? Sounds like you got it fuckin bad, AJ."
A nod of her head in response to this. That certainly made sense she supposed. With that realization came the blossom of inspiration to her mind, a lovely thing that brought a smile to the woman’s lips. That little band of energy slowly closing around the stone before disappearing into it’s surface. For a brief moment there was nothing, until the stone shifted, unfurling itself as the stone uncurled, a little stone bird shaking itself awake as it stood up in her palm. The little thing looked around, hopping about before turning to Ajora and chirping, having lost none of it’s stone qualities as it looked at Aza.
"I’ll need some more time with it. But give me a few days, and this little one will be able to help your recovery if you’re ever injured. That should satisfy the ‘staying alive’ should it not?" She noted with a soft smile. Now that she thought about it she didn’t recall if she had ever demonstrated her ability to Aza. Well, she had now. A somewhat useless power in the minds of many of their kind probably. But it worked for her.
Azalea eyes the thing skeptically. She'd just changed the form of that stone without exerting any effort at all, it seemed. Just what kind of Arrancar had she been shacking up with? But still, this thing was gonna heal her?
"It would... but how the fuck didja do that? Just making some kinda fuckin living bird out of stone? What kinda power have you been keeping to yourself, A.J.?"
Maybe not the best time to try out a nickname, but it came to her suddenly, and she didn't want to waste any time.
In all honesty, she was a little taken aback, but her reaction said nothing of the sort. If survival hinged on body language, it was no wonder she had survived, having such control over her own.
She considered for a moment, idly tumbling the stone through her fingers for a moment before glancing back up to Aza.What indeed should she make from it? It wasn’t as if there was any sort of restriction. A small ring of her reiatsu forming around the little thing, that barely filled her palm.
"What sort of things do you like?" She so inquired, having admittedly been going to make some sort of adornment for the woman from it. Something that would be difficult to lose. She knew the woman liked to go fast.
"I like to go fast." She stated, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "I like... not dying. Uh, eating's nice, too. So's fucking. Uh. I like making fun? Talking to you, I like. Other than that... I mean, it's desert. I like playing in the sand."
A simple woman with simple tastes.

She was a bit surprised. She hardly thought Aza the type to miss others. Even so it did make her rather happy to hear it, and especially happy when the woman hugged her back, of course she had to deal with the odd sensation of the more developed woman pressing against her. This was the first time the two of them had hugged, and the first hug anyone had given Ajora. It was everything the books had promised.
"I actually have something for you." She piped up as memory suddenly struck her, reaching into her clothes for a moment before producing a small stone, the same color as Aza’s skin.
"I was in the world of the living when I saw this. It’s…. well… it’s… not very pretty. right now. But I thought perhaps I could make you something out of it before you got back. I admit I did not expect another visit so soon." She chuckled sheepishly. "I suppose unrefined it’s a little silly looking."
She got her a present? Well, wasn't that just sweet. Azalea hadn't gotten her anything in her absence, but she figured that was fine, since she hadn't known that there was going to be a gift exchange when she had returned.
"'s pretty." It was the same color as her skin... wasn't that neat? And to pick out that rock from all the other rocks by color alone? That was pretty incredible. "What were you gonna make out of this?"
Surely it couldn't have been some kind of... figurine or something? What did you even make out of a small stone? But still, it was a very nice gesture, and the rock was a sorta pretty cocoa color.
She smiled at the gentle poke to her gut, her hand lightly finding rest upon the other woman’s wrist as fingers lightly curled around them in so soft an embrace, snaring the woman’s appendage and using it to pull them in.
"I’m glad. That you’re alright." She stated softly, her gentle gaze drifting lightly from Aza’s head to her toes before doubling back and locking eyes with her.
"I missed you."
Though it surprised her, she wasn't nearly as skittish as she had been in the past, and moved into the hug graciously.
"Hey, I missed you too, yanno? It's weird."
She had been a loner most of her life... it was strange to have someone who she wanted to come back to. Not someone who she was mooching off of, or someone she wasn't going to kill when their guard was down... someone she actually enjoyed seeing.
A soft nod in response. “Good. Should they have been so dense as to follow you here, I dare say you need not worry over them again.” She noted, smiling as she reached out and lightly placed an armored palm upon the other arrancar’s shoulder.
"Though I am glad you’ve come back. I trust you haven’t been starving yourself? As t’would hardly do you good to get any skinnier." She noted teasingly, giving a light poke to the woman’s hips.
"Hey, I eat well." When she could. She didn't like fighting, since it implied risk. But she got scraps where she could. Didn't need to eat much. "And you're one to talk, you're a little thing." Aza poked Ajora in the stomach, smirking.
"The only thing with any weight on you is that armor."

The arrancar nodded softly as she circled her friend, inspecting them for any injuries as they explained.
"So I see, someone perhaps that I should take care of?" She ventured.
She watched her, if only out of habit... her... friend seemed just fine. Good.
"They didn't seem that tough. You know, they just sorta chased me around. Threw some punches. Talked really big, though." As a rule, she generally didn't mess with Aizen's people. Even if she thought that she might be able to beat them.
