RANDOM BUT POTENTIALLY HELPFUL TIP ABOUT LOOKING SUS

One of my managers who is really really really good at catching shoplifters says that it’s extremely sus if he sees someone walking while looking up/around. It draws a lot of attention to you and makes you look sus. I thought this made sense.

When I look for camera’s I take a hot drink in (full or empty) and drink/pretend to drink from it and tip my head back, it gives you the perfect view of the ceiling without looking sus.

I'm sure you're sick af of hearing this but I can remember and I've sorted through your blog and a couple others and I don't see a direct answer anywhere, I guess it may have gotten buried with all the other asks and that CC bull. As far as you know, does Ulta source tag the Naked pallets? I just want to be prepared, my Ulta has a surprising number of cams :/

this is actually honestly a good question, and I don’t think I’ve answered it before :) naked palettes are not source tagged anywhere. It is illegal for a single store or vendor to decide to open the packages, so they can’t individually sourcetag. tags can only be hidden during the manufacturing and packaging process. so, in order for your ulta to sourcetag them, they’d have to be sourcetagged in every ulta, sephora, etc across the US. remember, they do like to hide/disguise RFID tags. I have several pics of ulta tags in my lifting tips page :)

Guys! I think I just discovered a new trick to stealing high end earrings. First, go to Walmart. Discreetly slip off the backings and let the earring fall into your palm, and leave. Then, go to somewhere like macys or sears or something. Now, what I did was I found some diamond studs on a table display thingy. I slipped them out of the cardboard thingy and replaced then with the cheap walmart ones. Then, I discreetly lifted the cardboard things, and slightly tipped it to retrieve the backings.
