The scariest silent film ever made. A swedish-danish documentary style film, it was inspired and partly based on the infamous Malleus Maleficarum, or The Hammer of the Witches, a theological treatise on witches, witchcraft and how to legally proceed in those cases(euphemism for torturing and murdering thousands of people accused of witchcraft) It is considred the most important book on demonology of the 15th Century.
