Oh I hate this coworker with a passion. Get outta my ass you aren’t the fucker paying me.
No, seriously. Who are these pill-pushing doctors? Where on God's green Earth do there exist doctors who just give you medicine when you ask for it? Where can I find these doctors? Are they hangin out with fuckin Bigfoot? And when we do find them, should we give them a medal or a big sack of money or do we throw them a parade or what
made me laugh thinking abt if you do porn your boss could walk by and be like “fuckin hard or hardly fuckin?” and that might be pretty funny. well im alone there now. in our “special place”. waiting for you.
This has been my main argument against "AI" from the very beginning.
OpenAI scraped the entire web. All of which had been a labor of love from humans. Wikipedia is the backbone of a lot of LLMs, and that was volunteer human labor. They stole it and now they're selling it back to us.
And worse, they're trying to destroy the free sources that they stole from. It's destruction of human knowledge on an unprecedented scale. The burning of the library of Alexandria has nothing on this.
"there is no way you're not using chatgpt for at least a few things here and there no matter your stance on it" what the FUCK are you talking about
Please stop putting ugly men on my dash. I don’t care if they’re kissing I am tired of seeing them
I posted this and then it changed to lesbians (that are maybe zombies??)
Big upgrade.
wow you have dogshit taste (remembers im trying to be nicer to people who like different things) uh i mean, it's beautiful how the breadth of human experience is so wide it encompasses those with good taste and those with dogshit taste
Please stop putting ugly men on my dash. I don’t care if they’re kissing I am tired of seeing them
all cops are bastards because all cops are just doing their jobs
“I’m just doing what I’m told. If I am ordered to remove gold fillings from refugees theeth then that’s what I’ll do”, says police officer Michael Hansen. Just thought I’d add this since not a lot of people outside of the nordic countries seem to have seen it. This is a danish police officer discussing a new danish law that says the police should seize the possesions and money of refugees to finance the integration.
He uh, skipped awful quickly to “stealing gold fillings” didn’t he?
Original Article the image & caption are taken from.
It’s real.
Remember that “just following orders” was a claim made by the nazis who survived World War Two who were charged with warcrimes.
They also stole the gold from people’s teeth.
"Breach of research ethics" needs to have harsher connotations, it's not taken seriously enough for how heinous it actually is.
Like I've taken research ethics classes, I know how harrowing this shit can get, to me "breach of research ethics" has the connotations, "Did some Nazi bullshit and got slapped on the wrist for it."
It's not about some little oopsie where uh oh, the poor researcher may have shaken hands with someone in a way that may have constituted a conflict of interest in their research on yeast cultivation. It's about researchers actively doing harm to people in tangible, material ways.
I work at a clinical research center (as a lowly tech) and started reading The Occasional Human Sacrifice and when I talked to my colleges about the book all but one ragged on the idea of someone ever needing to blow the whistle on medical abuse. A black nurse snubbed her nose at the idea of anyone facing consequences for the Tuskegee experiment. I’m still reeling from that several months later.
I need a manga reading site that you can filter by tropes.
I'll just post everything related to Grand Regent Debbie AU at once because I forgot
"it's just growing pains" -> "you're too young for that to hurt that bad" -> "you just need to get in better shape" -> "welcome to being old, everyone is in pain"
