I returned, once again, to the halls of PAX East this weekend! When I wasn’t just wandering around, reading RPG books, or running sessions at Games on Demand (two sessions each of A Stern Chase Is A Long Chase and Fabula Ultima this time) I was sitting down to try games out. In case you’re attending PAX East 2026 Sunday Edition, I’ve provided the booth numbers you can find these games at to…

Help us raise money for mental health charity please~!
Solo But Not Alone 6!: 90 items for $10.00
There are 90 solo TTRPGs here, loads of different kinds of games from introspective journal games to dungeon crawlers! I made a spreadsheet with content warnings and tags so you can find the perfect game for you, and the whole bundle is ten dollars!
Help us out! We want to raise money to help provide mental health supports for people. One thing I like that Take This does is makes gaming spaces more accessible by providing "afk rooms" at conventions so anxious people, neurodivergent people, and really anyone who needs it can escape and access support!

A Lost & Found game of a giant robot, its many pilots, and the passage of time, and a Wretched & Alone game of a mecha mechanic.
It's the final four hours for my ZineTopia project! That's PLENTY of time to get (and support) a Lost & Found solo mecha TTRPG about a giant robot, its many pilots, and the passage of time. Plus the stretch goal project, a Wretched & Alone solo game about a mecha mechanic and their (probably doomed) effort to keep their machine intact and its pilots alive.
There are plenty of other neat games in the add-ons, too: stranded pilots, wacky heists, dream hackers, and fleeing starships!

The mid-campaign slowdown is real! It actually feels a lot like Rest in Tales from the Cockpit, where the days/months/years pass by, the world changes around you, and your chassis is affected by the ravages of time.
Halfway through BackerKit's ZineTopia, and more than 3/4ths of the way towards the stretch goal for The Cog That Remains!
Hasbro’s annual earnings came out this week, so I took a look. It is truly staggering how much Wizards of the Coast has changed the company
"I know I’ve said many, many times before that D&D has an outsized impact on the market, but I want to make it clear what I mean. I’ve broken the RPG publishing industry into five tiers: the first four are categorized by revenue, each an entire order of magnitude smaller than the last. The final tier is everyone else who’s more than an order of magnitude smaller than the previous tier. The tiers are named by approximate revenue values: 500 million, 50 million, 5 million, and 0.5 million, with Everyone Else at the end." - @levelonewonk

Tales from the Cockpit has reached its funding goal, which means people will get their game(s) and a print run will get made! But the print run can only be so big, so we have a stretch goal: a second print run for The Cog That Remains, a Wretched & Alone solo game of a mecha mechanic and their (probably doomed) effort to keep their machine intact and its pilot alive!
Welcome back to another Crowdfunding Carnival! It’s not just any Crowdfunding Carnival, though…it’s February. And that means it’s time for Z
"I’m going to try something a little different this year. Frankly, listing out 60+ zines with brief descriptions is both not something I’m sure is that useful, and also makes my hands hurt (especially if I’m going to do two of these this month). So instead, I’m going to give you a peek into my day job: That of a consultant. That’s right, I made a graph." - @levelonewonk

Tales from the Cockpit Print Run is now live on BackerKit as part of ZineTopia! Get a Lost & Found solo game about a giant robot, its many pilots, and the passage of time and help fund the creation of more copies bound for store shelves!

From Seamus Conneely - Get Ready for Tales from the Cockpit Print Run
The print run for Tales from the Cockpit, my Lost & Found solo ttrpg of a giant robot, its many pilots, and the passage of time, will go live on Monday 2/2/26 as part of BackerKit's ZineTopia!
No funny business or stretch goals, and the game is fully complete. Just people pledging their support, getting the game (or games if you go in for some digital add-ons), and letting more copies of the game be made to hopefully end up on FLGS shelves.
Plus, it's gotten enough follows that I've been able to add a pair of free games to the early bird rewards, which everyone who pledges within the first 48 hours will receive.
Give it a follow, share to let other people know about it, and let's see what Tales we can tell!
Heeeeyyy so I thought I’d drop a little update on y’all’s fave tees from my shop! Thank y’all for making these weird designs your faves. I love you so much! And if you’d like any of these as a crewneck or a hoodie, many are already available. But if not, send me a message on Etsy and I’ll see what I can do! I’m having a Sweetheart Head Start Sale for those who want to get a jump on Valentine’s Day or just need a little treat! 10-25% off everything! Shop is here.
Instead of coming up with some TTRPG pablum for an introduction, I’m going to cut right to the chase: At first I thought it was really weird
"Instead of coming up with some TTRPG pablum for an introduction, I’m going to cut right to the chase: At first I thought it was really weird that Onyx Path Publishing released Curseborne. If you don’t look too closely, the game appears to ape World of Darkness, an entire fork of which Onyx Path is the licensee. The five lineages are clearly aligned to Vampire (Hungry), Werewolf (Primal), Mage (Sorcerer), Demon (Outcasts), and Wraith (Dead). And even if the game is in fact different, why did Onyx Path decide to make their own supernatural horror game now?" - @levelonewonk
