“My friends are happy, I am happy, I have learned to adapt.”
“What are you adapting to then? If you’re happy?”
notcncngel:
“No personality?“
“Quick, show me some depth -- even just a little. You have two seconds.”
eleanor-parker:
“You might have to explain a bit more, because I’m not really understanding what you mean.”
“How much I tolerate them. My aunts are cooler than my uncles, by far.”
eleanor-parker:
“For every one good cop, there’s at least ten bad,” she sighed. It saddened her a bit that law enforcement seemed to never change. “Um, you know, normal family drama. I’ve got a murderous older brother, but apparently he’s changed. I’m honestly too afraid to find out.”
“That’s the thing about murderous family members... You kinda have to gauge it, using any means available. I go by how extravagant the birthday presents are.”
eleanor-parker:
“Ah, gotcha. I tend to avoid people in that profession, but I’m sure you could go to one of the precincts around here?” She suggested. Eleanor made an ‘o’ with her mouth. “Being a witch isn’t really all it’s cracked up to be,” she shrugged. “Speaking from experience, power can make people a little crazy.”
“I avoid them too. Around here, most of them are human elitists.” She was curious as to why this girl would feel the need to avoid them, though. Was it the same reason? “I get that... My dad’s side, it’s pretty wild. What happened with you?”
eleanor-parker:
“Sorry to disappoint? We don’t choose what we are,” she shrugged. “Maybe I can help in some other way, though?” Eleanor raised her eyebrow, “And are you? A witch?” New Orleans seemed to be a home to many different types and species of people. She never really knew what to expect at this point. “I guess so,” she smiled.
“Oh, no! It’s not that. I just, was kinda hoping you were a detective or FBI or something.” She softly smiled, a laugh behind her lips. “I’m adopted, actually, so no. I grew up pretty jealous of my moms’ abilities, but I like to think I’ve gotten past that by now.”
river-mikaelson:
“I can do a quick locator spell if you have anything of hers and a map? I remember one time I didn’t come home before the street lights came on and my Dad was so mad at me. I didn’t get why it was a big deal, but now I understand that there are some awful people in this world,” she sighed and shook her head. “Sorry, I don’t know where that came from,” she laughed softly.”
“Oh! You’re a witch.” There was a touch of disappointment in Irene’s tone, but not because she didn’t trust the girl’s ability, but that she was looking forward to some other means of being good at finding people. Not just locator spells. “My mom’s a witch,” she explained not a second later, smiling sheepishly. “And I’m afraid I don’t have anything of hers with me, no.” The girl’s comments did manage to furrow her brow. “At least you know, even if it’s only just now. It’s no problem.”
eleanor-parker:
“Are you sure? I’m pretty good at finding people.”
“If you’re willing to be an accomplice to Vanessa’s murder, sure,” the changeling laughed. “She was supposed to go home three hours ago.. That better be where she is right now.”
eleanor-parker:
“Oh. Well, maybe I can help you find them.”
“Yeah, not necessary -- I really don’t need to risk making more of an ass of myself.”
eleanor-parker:
“I’m sorry?”
“I thought you were someone else. So, no.. you don’t know me. That’s my bad.”

“We’re Mikaelsons, Petrovas, and Labonairs. We’re champions in every sense.”
“You can’t fault me for thinking that nowadays.. we give off a more loud and ancient vibe.”
eleanor-parker:
“Do…do I know you?”
The changeling gave the girl another once-over. “You’re not her.”
