You got the letter about a day ago actually and it's been sitting on your desk ever since. You read it twice. The first time left you feeling guilty, the second made your stomach turn, and you'd been spending as much time as you could occupying yourself with tasks that required your full attention so as to avoid thinking about it.
Unfortunately, during week days, there wasn't a whole lot to do. You cleaned up, got things dry-cleaned and did laundry, dishes, even sat through some of Kankri's sermons as attentively as possible, but nothing really put those smudged little words out of your mind.
Finally you broke down and reluctantly sat to write something in return. You had connections - you didn't need to know Karkat's address to get the letter to him, so it was thinking of something to say that was the hard part.Â
AaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH........
contractgenotype replied to your post:
oh jeez sorry))
((its cool yo, just try to keep that in mind in the future ok?))

It should really go without saying that when someone tells you they aren't interested, you should probably drop the fucking subject and not push it any further. That is not your green light to go ahead and do whatever you want because it's funny or cute and if you think it is, I have zero respect for you.
They see me taggin’ their triggers, and n9w I’m their leader cuz they all respect me
“Just where to find you and… we were infected at the time. It was awful.” You rub the back of your neck and look at the windows. When he starts moving you trail after him like a lost puppy. “I don’t really remember much other than being a bugfuck insane crustacean monster.”
"I'm sorry that happened to you," you say softly, sitting down on one of the front pews. "I managed to avoid it, not counting the fact that Terezi lived in my fireplace for a few days while she dealt with her little monster inhabitant. Ah, but how are you doing now? Better, I hope."
You try to hide the reaction to that, but damn are you bad at it. “Terezi didn’t… Um. No. I’m okay.” Nervously, you try to fix your wrinkled hat.Â
“… What did she tell you? About me. I mean.”
"Uh, not really a whole lot. Just that we're a lot alike." You weren't quite seeing it yet, but you supposed that part would take a little time. "Did she... uh, tell you anything about me at all?"Â You make your way toward the back, talking over your shoulder as you walk.
“Um. Okay.” You finally look at him again, eyes wide. He said that, but as you looked around, it was an entirely different universe. You’d never really been to a church, and you peered at everything like a baffled child. It was so… cozy? You didn’t know what words to use, even within your own thinkpan.Â
“… Kankri?”
"Your other relative. He works here too, but I've no idea where he is." You look around for any sign of that god-awful red sweater but see nothing. "Probably off fucking around... Are you thirsty or anything??" Being a good host wasn't exactly up your alley, but you were gonna try dammit.
You felt like you were three sweeps old again. Scrubbing at your face with the back of your sleeve, you frowned at yourself. “I didn’t- fuck, this isn’t how I wanted this to go.”
Not wanting to look him in the eyes, you stared anywhere else and hiccuped.Â
You laugh a little bit and ruffle his hair, "Hey, it's alright, no harm done. Uh, make yourself at home I guess? There's... Ah, there's really not a whole lot of interesting things here."
After a second you rub the back of your neck and grin awkwardly, "I'm Signle-- Er, Kujoto. You can call me Kujo if you want. It's nice to finally meet you - Kankri will be thrilled, I'm sure."
>Casually leave fresh biscuits, vegetable beef soup, and a container of beeswax on his desk. Then disappear as quickly as you entered.
> Casually has no idea about this because he's elsewhere, but when he finds it later he's very happy.
