Summary:

With anyone else, she would protest. But I wasn’t alone, I had the Traveler with me the whole time. It’s on the tip of her tongue, well-practiced. But it hadn’t been the whole time and she had been alone, carving dicks into hallways, pressing her ears to the walls and living in books and drawings and in overheard whispers and her own imagination. But it’s Caleb here with her in the kitchen under the dancing lights. They keep things from each other, but they don’t hide feelings. Caleb decides to make Zemnian Winter's Crest cookies and Jester is the only one who sticks around to help.
