My name's Caoimhe O'Connor. I was cursed by a petty spider goddess and for the last four years I've been my world's spiderhero.
In my world it's 1974 and I've saved the city, the world, the local businesses... I saved my great-aunt but I... Couldn't save my parents.
Between attending several protests, a few riots and getting arrested, I've made a few friends, more enemies and gotten way more wrapped up in the Old Myths than I ever thought I would. My homework? Uh... Don't ask.
Then, a little over a month ago, something weird happened. I mean, really weird. I stumbled over a leyline and into a completely different universe. Found out there were more spiders. Like me.
I'm still working stuff out. The whole 'canon' thing for one, what a load of bullshit. But it's been... Going better. Mostly.

[ APPEARANCE ]
-> About 5'7 with long, ginger, curly hair and green eyes. Her hair's very thick and usually pulled into a ponytail. It comes roughly down to her waist when tied up and her hips when down.
-> Pale and freckled with two lobe piercings on each ear and a lip ring. She has several tattoos, all which seem to be written in gaelic or latin. They're practical, but she won't explain what exactly they're for.

-> For... reasons, she refuses to give anyone a name for herself. As a result, there've been many nicknames and Aliases used. Here are some:

[ EARTH 1703 ]
-> Earth 1703 is a universe where all of the folktales, urban legends and other myths are very much real. While life goes on, it does make for some very key differences. For example, 'Doc Ock' is a minature Kraken that lives in the Thames and Venom is quite literally a demon.
-> Caoimhe's timeline takes place in 70s London after her parents left Ireland in an attempt to get away from the family business. The family business is not one to be left behind, however, and has taken an interest in their daughter, the fated spider of this Universe.

[ CAOIMHE O'CONNOR ]
-> Caoimhe O'Connor took up the mantle as her universe's spider at thirteen and promptly became a key feature in the mythical side of the world. Her parents died when she was fourteen under questionable circumstances, and Caoimhe was left under the care of her great-aunt, Maeve, who had zero interest in looking after a child. After some debate and several events, they came to the agreement that Maeve would handle the paperwork and send Caoimhe money until she was eighteen. Caoimhe suspects Maeve is aware of her extra-curricular activities, but the old lady seems to have no interest in putting a stop to it.
-> Caoimhe gained spiderlike abilities after being cursed by Arianrhod for trying to avoid fate, or what would later be referred to as her 'canon events'. Despite this, Caoimhe doesn't believe in the whole canon event thing in the slightest and will do what she can to help the other spiders avoid or minimise their own. She doesn't talk about the curse and instead lets the others assume she was simply bitten like the rest of them.
-> Caoimhe knows when a canon events is about to happen because she'll hear a banshee wail before it.
