why tf is tumblr so repetitive, most of the posts on here go something along the lines of 'I am a sweet delicate baby angel kitten sent from Diet Coke heaven with a glass fragile baby pink unicorn heart and im skinny and I need an old man to come and abuse me'
come on guys.
"Idiots," I say, referring to the characters I have spent hundreds of my real life hours contemplating.
the idea of making tea for someone and remembering how they like it is actually very romantic to me.
i’m either completely detached or deeply emotionally invested. there is no in between and i would like a refund.
sticks my finger in the barrel of your gun so it backfires on you looney toons style but the gun moaned and now none of us know what genre we're in.
I can’t sleep, I have to torture myself psychologically
you have a headache because you have powers
they hate me because the years of memory loss has purified my mind
guy who's having gauzy idealized wife flashbacks for the whole adventure but it turns out she isn't dead or anything he just really misses her and wants to get home
men in love are like “i love you” and women in love are like “i wouldn’t mind taking all of your pain in my hands and letting it overflow into the cracks of my skin just to be able to have a part of you with me”
the art of making it matter
light a candle when you work. put on lipstick for the grocery store. play that song that makes you feel like you're in a coming-of-age montage. take the long way home. write love letters to no one. read poetry out loud to your plants. the secret isn't that life is inherently romantic—it's that you can MAKE it romantic by paying attention, by adding ceremony to the mundane, by refusing to let a single ordinary day pass unloved.
