Thank you for the support shown thus far but we have decided to remake the region and its pokemon to better reflect Australia as our base for this region.

Heartchu the Cupid Pokemon

Flying/Fairy

It is said that two lovers are joined by the red string of fate that this pokemon makes out of its tail. Seeing a heartchu is said to be a sign that you'll meet your true love soon.

We're looking for some sprite artists that would be so kind to draw some of the fakemon from the region. You don't have to do the whole line, obviously, but I, the artist, am willing to do reference sheets for all of the fakemon if you ask for them. Doesn't have to look professional, we're happy to welcome some novice sprite artists and let them have a go at it as well.

One of the fossil pokemon for the Capicous Region doesn't have a name yet but its typing is Grass/Steel.

Anubysmal, legendary for the Capicous region

Mangabottle suggested a ninetails evolution that had it up on its hind legs and in a kimono. I went a step further and made a split evolution for Ninetails. One into a Fire/Dark and another into a Fire/Psychic.

Shanari, the Fantasy Pokemon

It is a fire/dark type and the stage two evolution of Ninetails. It evolves by having a female ninetails at max beauty and happiness at night.

Ability - Illusion

"It is said to transform into beautiful women at night and lure men out into the woods where they will wander, lost, until dawn. The only way to spot if the woman you meet is a shanari is her shadow, which is always that of its true self no matter the form."

Clenari, the Messenger Pokemon

It is a fire/psychic type and is the stage two evolution of Ninetails. It evolves by having a male ninetails with max happiness while also knowing will-o-wisp during the day.

Ability - Regenerator

"Clenari, despite not being a flying type and lacking any wings, are rumored to be able to fly through the sky to deliver messages to the gods. They are often seen at temples helping upkeep it and tend to the wounded. These pokemon are famous for their powers of healing. "

Suggest Fakemon

Suggest animals, typing or plants you would like to be seen turned into fakemon. The artist for this region really wants to design some and can't be bothered to think up such things right now. It's either to late or she's just tapped out right now for inspiration.

See if you all can't suggest something worthwhile! It probably won't be used for the region but you will be given credit for the inspiration for the design when it's posted.

Oppivy, the poison ivy pokemon

It is a grass/poison type pokemon and the stage 1 evolution of the grass starter Tailbine.

"It scavenges for food and is very fond of poisonous plants and berries. The poison in these plants is extracted from its system and concentrated into the acorn-like things forming in clusters over it's body."

Skimp, the Rock Shrimp pokemon

It is a water/rock type and is the water starter for the Capicous region.

They are covered in a rocky outer shell to protect them from predators. Living in troups, the older ones will hunt for the younger until they learn to catch the prey themselves

Filopent, the Feathered Snake pokemon

A pure fire type, it is the fire starter for the Capicous region.

It rubs the feathers on its body together to produce heat. This keeps its cold blooded body active and warm.

A pure grass type and the grass starter of the Capicous region.

"Its tail is super strong! It can hang only using it's tail for hours at a time."

Hello everyone! This is a joint account with me and my friend as we make many fake pokemon (Fakemon) for everyone to enjoy! We're just starting out with it but I hope that you enjoy the fakemon as much as we do. Suggestions on typing or certain fakemon you would like to see is welcome as soon as we have everything set up. Bear with us for a bit but after that, I'm sure it will be lots of fun. As you can tell, the region has been named Capricous and it's going to be based off of Australia. Fun, right?!

Oh, I should mention that we're not taking anyone else's designs. I love to see everyone else's fakemon but that is not what this account is for. It is for OUR fakemon. We would love suggestions, as I've said, on animals/plants you think would make a great fakemon as well as their types. Suggests challenges to us if you want.

I'll open the submit box for fanart of our fakemon but, as I've said, do not submit your own pokemon.
