Newly installed USB socket (not by myself) was not getting an Earth through to the appliance. The wiring to the socket was fine and there was in fact an Earth cable present, it was just a faulty cheap socket. Plugged in was a metal coffee machine.. 🤯 This could be dangerous to any metal appliances plugged in and could be fatal!
