Actually quite happy about how this one turned out :)
Well... this is a little hard to explain.
A racket-tailed puffleg for Sketchdaily’s topic “racket”. What a pretty birb! :)
A cornish pixie for #monstermarch
Today’s topic: leap! One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.
Sketchdaily’s today’s alternative challenge: “a house for a mouse”. Not too happy with this one, but I’m forcing myself to upload it anyway. Also I want to train my writing and since the mouse on the left somehow ended up with a really concerned and agonized look on its face this is calling for a backstory: “Martin had been with Mia for a year now. Things had been going fairly well, they liked each other, the laughed together, they had the same interests and hobbies. She could be the one, Martin thought to himself more than once. But there was one problem: Mia loved expensive gifts. She didn’t only like them, Martin couldn’t shake the feeling that she expected them and that the day he would tell her he couldn’t afford to take her to that new fancy restaurant “Le chat sans dents” or buy that golden necklace she wanted for her birthday she would leave him for someone who could. But he was too afraid to find out the truth, so he kept on fulfilling her wishes. He had a stable income as a nutcracker in a factory and could maintain her for a while. Once in a while Martin had to hire-purchase a cheese making machine or a sofa from mole skin, but other from not being able to set some money aside and running out of nest egg, he could afford it. But Mia’s requests grew more impossible with every day. “Martin?” she asked one day, with the squeaky little voice he liked so much “Yesterday I saw something on channel cheese – you wouldn’t believe it! Did you know they are making houses from cheese now? Custom-built desginer pieces, all the furniture included! Didn’t we talk about buying a house together one day, Martin?” she looked at him expectantly and gently caressed the fur between his ears. “I really want to live in one of these, Martin. They look so gorgeous ... But I guess you couldn’t afford it. Nevermind.” Martin was in shock. He was used to her asking for gifts – but a house? A designer house? That was a lifetime investment! Sure, they had talked about their future together, but he didn’t want to start that future with stifling debt! She had put it off, but she always did that when asking for something and always let him know with little comments that she was still interested, giving him the feeling to disappoint her if he didn’t pursue the matter. It would be the same with the cheese house, he knew that ...“ Just look at the picture to see how things turned out. (This is like the backstory of Jorah Mormont - if he was a mouse.)
Some figure drawings I did a few months ago in a course at school
Sketchdaily’s topics were Snoo (reddit alien) or the twitter bird. I couldn’t decide ...
A sketch I did for a request on r/DrawForMe (and a crappy speed coloring)
A logo I did for a request - It’s for selfmade natural candles.
But it’s so precious!
Unconditional love.
