A Slice of my Life
Hello! my name is Van Adrian M. Enong, a senior researcher, journalist, and a student leader. While you won’t see that much of my skill in writing here, but this whole page is dedicated as to who I am, How do I cope with Online Classes, and Why did I chose Psychology.
To start, Who am I? ideally, I’m all of those stated from above, but truthfully, I’m just a student that is constantly living in curiosity. I love reading, researching new things, writing, listening to songs, and is fond of flora and fauna.
I was born in the heart of Malolos, literally right across Barasoain Church at the 5th of September 2002 which makes me a proper Virgo, very idealistic but still compassionate and emotional. We are a very big family, I was the 3rd child out of 5 children.
To sum up my personality, I’m just a big bubble of emotions, extremely fragile and can pop off at any moment, so expect a mix of personalities that you’ll never expect from a 6′2 feet-tall man. I used to think that I was born in the wrong body, but over time, I learned how to love myself, even if there is a fear of uncertainty how am I doing it properly, I still get to enjoy and love myself when I’m carefree and confident.
If you think that this is worth the read, you can scroll down to see more! I suggest interacting with the things that I posted and wrote down in this “blog”, you’ll see what things I relate to, see my taste in music, and ponder about the passages that I wrote for you.
(ps: this is the way that I wanted my blog to be presented, I promise you that this is not a sorry excuse that I don’t know how to use Tumblr, enjoy!)

A personal favorite of mine, It’s a cute fun song!
Coping with Online Class
I think that I share the same sentiments with all of the students here in the Philippines with this one.
The new mode of learning is very ineffective and dysfunctional. Students have to juggle being a brother or sister, a child to their parents, and a student under one roof; its like signing up for extracurricular activities that are not graded in your college units. Not only that, learning feels more biased towards the privileged and those who can’t come up with solutions are bound to be left behind.
But worry not! I’ll share a thing or two to freshen yourself up when the stress starts to pound you.
1. Timetable. A proper timetable will always be helpful in organizing tasks and finishing them properly and easily. In my experience, I usually make project agendas that states the parts of the tasks that I should finish and set deadlines for them.
2. Have fun. Having fun will always be the best way to cope in online classes. Talk to your teachers, socialize with your classmates, help and guide them in traversing the online platform, and don’t forget that having fun means resting too. There is fun in resting, but just like too much fun, too much rest leads in procrastination, so be careful!
3. Drink water. Believe me, a bottle of water a day, keeps the 2.5 away. Don’t forget to quench your thirst to let more information flow in your brain. Drinking water helps us pause and refreshes our mind and throat when those recitation points comes barging in.
Well, that’s all! Always remember, its always up to us how we will tackle and cope with online classes, so take as much tips as you want!
Just like a butterfly, we will undergo drastic changes, and with that change comes another purpose of life.
Dancing with the Devil’s Trident
Psychology was not really my dream course, in fact, it was far from what I imagined myself taking 2-3 years ago. I was supposed to be a biochemist, I was supposed to be in a laboratory trying new organic compounds and whatnots, but I guess life has other plans for me.
Taking psychology was like dancing with the devil’s trident. I don’t know what I was doing but I’m faring smoothly so far.
I do think however that Psychology is a great course. We get to understand the misunderstood and amplify voices of the affected by being their voice when they are troubled with what they want to say to the world. We get to fight alongside our allies and benefactors against the norms, prejudice, stigma, and many others that mental illnesses were once painted to be.
I think it’s gonna be fun, I think so? Maybe?? we’ll find out, just wait and see!

A little song that gets me thru this trying time. Love will always be where you feel warmth and safety against things you can’t battle.
A little something for your mind.
tears quell, when in good memories you dwell. then it must be yours to bear, to which dream with meanings you find rare.
I don’t really post my pictures online, but here’s a flower for you! I hope you loved this small special timeline-styled blog! stay safe and good day!
