this is such a fun opening single for his new era. this is what lead singles are supposed to do. they're supposed to excite and showcase something different from what listener's have heard in the past to get them anticipating the sound for the next album cycle. and we have rarely heard louis experiment with this type of swanky, funky, upbeat feel right out the gate. lemonade definitely feels like a refreshing chapter for him, and i do wonder what else he has experimented with on the record since this is so far from what his current element is. exciting times for LT3 to be in right now.

like, the more i listen the more i find in the little elements of the single's production that makes it feel as airy and smooth as it does. cannot wait to see what they've dabbled with production wise this time around.

no like. we've legitimately dreamt about times like these for louis. had endless discussions about him one day, hopefully, gracing the cover of rolling stone. to have his music and career be taken seriously enough to have a cover on one of the most iconic, historic music magazines in the world. he has been hitting the pavement hard for years to be taken seriously outside of the one direction label with countless festival runs, music change-ups, sonic authenticity, label and management transitions, audience growth as he's pushed his tours to the next level since 2022. this is a huge moment for him going into the cycle of his third record. i am endlessly proud of how consistent and positive his outlook has been through this tough climb he's had back and forth over the years, but to have something like this is a huge accomplishment. just excited for him. i can only imagine how great it felt for him to get that call that he had the opportunity to be the UK cover.
