Happy Birthday, grandma!

You're a grandma now? I thought Momochan was our resident grandma now. *laughs*

Well, according to Takagi, Yuka-chan is her mom. Which makes me a grandma!

Yuka-chan? Feeling lonely?

Yuka was curled up in a small corner of the mansion. She’d been helping the other members out with their problems. When she was tired, Yuka would find a corner to nap in. “Ah! Shimizu-san! Oh silly me, I’ll get up first.”

“Why are you curled up in a corner? Feeling sad?” Saki had been in the same Satoyama unit so she cared about Yuka. Back in those days Yuka worried a whole lot. “Let me help you up. So, what’s wrong?”

Nee~ Saki-mama! I’m just feeling a bit tired these days you know!“ Taking care of a Monkey and a Mouse is no easy task. With one running after another, continuosly looking for each other, it got too chaotic for Yuka to handle. "The younger ones are being a bit chaotic.”

"Well you suddenly got clingy! Now, now come here. You need some rest." Saki gestured for Yuka to come rest on her lap since it was the mom-like thing to do. She chuckled. "The little ones being chaotic? I know how that feels."

 “I’m excited about Mode! Seeing Ayaka-chan so grown up makes me happy!” Saki jumps in her seat. “Your date? I’d be happy to be your date!”  She settled down and grinned.

Maasa smiled as she chewed on her last bit of sandwich. She always enjoyed seeing Saki’s smile. She swallowed her food. “Well, then, it’s settled.

So what do you want to do now?”

"You must be enjoying that sandwich Maa-chan!" She giggled at how quickly the sandwich was consumed. "What I want to do now? Let's go walk around for a bit. I'd love to get to know the area some more." She grinned with delight. Walking around with Maasa would be entertaining.

Saki shifted a bit in her seat nervously. “Maa-chan! Lets think a little more positive.. Um, I heard you were participating in Nega Poji Poji!”

Maasa nodded. “Ok, sorry about that. I still get nostalgic about the old days sometimes.

But yeah, I’ll be in that play. It’ll be after Mode, which is the next play. I’m not in that one, but I’m excited about seeing it. Maybe we could go together when they perform it. You could be my date.” Maasa winked and chuckled.

When she’d noticed Maasa had ordered a considerably big sandwhich she decided to order a smaller dish, a breakfast wrap. “So, Maa-chan, C-ute is leaving next summer…”

Maasa nodded, a little sadly. “I heard. It’s going to be weird having a Hello Project without them. It’s like the end of an era, with all of us former Kids grown up and doing other things.”

“Oh so it’s going to be your first time as well? How lovely!” Saki pushes Maasa’s hand forward. “What are you waiting for? Let’s go!”

When they arrived at the cafe, she immediately noticed the sandwich display. Yep, she was definitely in the mood for a roast beef sandwich. She ordered her sandwich and apple juice and waited for Saki to order.

“There’s a cafe downstairs? I never knew.” Saki smiled at the thought. “I wonder if they have ice-cream..?”

“Mmhmm. It opened a few days ago, actually. And we can find out if they have ice cream.” Maasa grabbed Saki’s hand. “Let’s go see.”

I’m doing quite fine Maa-chan! Mentoring the Kenshuusei is hard work but enjoyable. *broadly smiles*

“With all our hard work, we deserve a break. And it’s the weekend. My treat.”

Maasa flashed her debit card. “Maybe they’ll have something good at the cafe downstairs.”

“There’s a cafe downstairs? I never knew.” Saki smiled at the thought. “I wonder if they have ice-cream..?”
