What motivated you to befriend Quasimodo?
âHmmm..well...â Phoebus hummed putting a gloved hand to the golden scruffle at his chin, âHe didnât take a liking to me at first..â He chuckled then. âBut lets just say Modo and I had something in common, we both were trying to resist Frolloâs grip.â
What made you fall in love with Esmeralda?
âWell..I admired her for her bravery...beauty...dancing...at first of course.â Phoebus answered, smiling. âBut what really made me fall in love with Esmeralda was her selflessness and the heart inside..â
Yeah c'mon
Why not
Oh man I could use this asap
Phoebus, do you and Esme plan on having another child? Just curios.
Phoebusâ eyes went wide. âI donât believe we have anyâŠ.unless there is something Esmeralda isnât telling meâŠbutâŠin any caseâŠIâd love to have more than one!âÂ
Phoebus, what's your position on genies?
âGenies?â Phoebus raised his eyebrows. âHmmmmâŠâ He hummed putting a hand to the stubble on his chin. âIâm not really one for magicâŠsort of a skepticâŠâ
âBut if they do exist! and they can really grant me three wishes! They are welcome in my book anytime!â The Captain chuckled âI could really use three wishes..â
A Soldier and a Servant {Phoebus & Cinderella}
Phoebus had been up since dawn which was when he usually reported for duty however it had been an especially busy and stressful day for the Captain of the Guard and his troops. He had been directing all his men to all kinds of parts of Paris and even the countryside that lay just outside the city. Many reports of crime had been taking place within the last few weeks, giving the Captain an incredulous amount of responsibility.Â
There he was just outside the palace of justice dressed from head to toe in golden armor, as he was mounted on his trusted steed Achilles. Phoebus was directing his troops, unit by unit pointing and snapping as he gave each group of men a stern glare as he ordered and directed them of where their posts and missions would be for the day. After the organizing was finished Phoebus led himself and ten of his men also mounted on horses to stride through the city, at this point he was policing just to make sure nothing awful happened during the upcoming festivals or parades that were to take place later in the day.Â
As Phoebus let Achilles go to a small walk he noticed a young woman no older than twenty he thought wandering aimlessly about the street, almost hidden among the hustle and bustle of the Parisian residents, selling their merchandise and socializing with one another. She appeared to be a peasant, judging from her clothing, and she appeared to have a confused, scared, and lost look on her face much unlike the others. Phoebus cocked a brow feeling like this was a citizen in need though it seemed like she had no real danger coming to her in the moment, except the fact that she was by herself in a strange crowd.Â
There was much going on in the City of Paris. Ella had been sent again, to the City to collect a few parcels Madame and her daughters had ordered. There had been no transportation to her small village of Foix De Lille, so Ella had been given the responsibility to travel herself.Â
She was not familiar with the city - or not well enough to know her way around, or how to handle how the citizens of the city treated foreigners (or even villagers who were not from their city.) There were many soldiers about, and it made Ella feel quite uncomfortable. Had Spain intercepted into France to continue with their religious persecution? Horrified at the idea of Inquisition, Ella tried to turn the other way. Perhaps she could persuade her Step-Mother to travel herself with her daughters in Paris. They would be hardly looked upon with their stature and elegance.Â
It was only as she paused, she saw a young man on a horse, staring at her. She looked down at herself, wondering if there was some sort of relic upon her that made him pause. She looked up at him again, her cheeks burning and without a slight of hesitation, she turned and ran away from him. She heard him click his tongue, and the clicking of his horseâs shoes were right behind on the cobblestone. Why was he chasing her? What did he want? She had no money. She had no family - and she certainly was not a witch. She turned the corner, and paused as she saw Notre Dame standing before her. Ella looked over her shoulder and slowly turned towards the man, who looked just as confused as she.Â
âWhat do you want? Who are you?â She asked, shivering from a tight fear.Â
âHeel Achilles!â Phoebus ordered his steed with a strong voice. Achilles let out a whiny and stopped dead in his tracks. âYou know its rude to bud into peopleâs business and follow them around town!â He teased as he turned his gaze to Cindy then âI swear! I cant take him anywhere.â Phoebus said with a slight grin as he took a gloved hand to his mouth as if what he said about Achilles was meant to be a secret just between himself and the stranger.Â
Achilles glared at his master and stomped his hooves in protest. âAnywayâŠyou look slightly lost Miss? May I be of any service?âÂ
The Sun God and the Moon~ Phoebus & Esmeralda
Phoebusâ helmeted head shot back to where a whistling sound was coming from and before he knew it his men were after a cloaked dark figure, running so fast it quickly went out of his view. Phoebus decided to pay no mind to what had just happened since he still had most of the units with him, and he was confident letting his other second in command officers take care of whatever situation it was.
Phoebus, Frollo, and the rest of the soliderâs began searching the entire city for gypsies hidden in peasant homes, and bribing whomever Frollo could with pieces of silver to turn in Esmeralda. The more Phoebus took part in the practice and observed Frolloâs cruelty and madness, the more the Captain grew more and more angry and disgusted at what was going on. As Frollo interrogated and terrorized family after family, gypsy caravan after caravan the Captain himself was even ashamed of taking part in such an injustice, especially since he was even ordered to chain up gypsies and dump caravans into the river as well as destroying homes for the sake of finding gypsies. He began to not even believe in taking up his duties anymore as Captain since he now confirmed in his mind that he no longer believed in Frolloâs mission at all. It was one thing to question but another thing to terrorize the entire city, innocent people, including the Romani people. How could he stand to the side and let this go on? the solider thought to himself over and over again.
Frollo, Phoebus, and the rest of the soldiers then rode up to a peasant home up on a hill, with a great big wooden wind mill at the front. Neighboring village people looked on at the situation of Frollo and the soliders coming to the house and interrogating an innocent villager who lived with his family peacefully, demanding he tell them of Esmeraldaâs whereabouts. Phoebus found it foolish since he knew Esmeralda would be hiding most likely at a supposed Court of Miracles, which was hidden very well somewhere deep within the city of Paris. Frollo and his men searched the property nonetheless however and found a gypsy talisman unfortunately. Frollo demanded the villager reveal where Esmeralda was but he retreated to saying âOur home is always open to the weary traveler, have mercy my lordâŠâ The man almost wept as he got on his knees and begged Frollo and his men not to persecute him and his family.
Phoebus looked on at the whole situation and his face hardened at how cruel Frollo was being. Frollo left then claiming he would but the man and his family on house arrest until further notice. Once Phoebus, Frollo, and his men exited the household, Frollo took it upon himself to lock the house and handed Phoebus a torch ordering him to burn down the house. The Captain couldnât believe it, and right away decided that Frollo had pushed his moral boundaries and he could never bring himself to murder the innocent, let alone women and children.Â
âWhat?!â The Captain half shouted in outrage. âWith all due respect sir..I was not trained to murder the innocentâŠâ replied the Captain with disgust in his voice.Â
Her plan had worked partly, for some of the soldiers were following her, but not all of them. Cursing her luck, Esmeralda was going to have to work fast if she was going to make it to the Millerâs house. They would be caught of helping her people outâŠthey left behind good luck talismanâs and oneâs for protection. If Frollo or even Phoebus were to find it, then the Millerâs and their young children would be at risk.
Esmeralda could not stomach the idea that innocent children would be punished because of Frollo.
Losing the soldiers quickly in the city, Esmeralda wasted no time in finding her way to the Millerâs house. A group of people had gathered and already they were whispering about what was going on. Peeking from behind her purple cloak. The Romani dancer could feel her heart beating terribly in her breast, looking on without the power to do anything about it at the moment.
It only grew worse as Frollo handed Phoebus a torch. God in heaven, he could not be serious!? How far was Frollo willing to go, to destroy not only her life but the lives of those who had nothing to do with this situation? Esmeralda watched as Phoebus defied Frollo in front of everyone, but it was then Frollo himself who lit the Millerâs house on fire.
She gasped and placed a hand over her neck, watching as Phoebus wasted no time in thinking about himself, but to save the Millerâs. He dove through the window and within moments, came out with two children in his arms, the parents not far behind. Had they been moments later, it would have collapsed on top of them.
The joyful reunion did not last long and Phoebusâ moment of bravery was not well received. One of Frolloâs men took the blunt end of his sword and knocked it against the back of his head, the golden helmet rolling off his head. Esmeralda could see the death sentence about to be carried out and this she could not take. Phoebus had done the right thing and like she, defied Frollo against all odds.
âSTOP!â
Esmeralda cried and came forward, pushing the cloak off of her face to reveal her identity to Frollo.
âSpare Phoebus and take me.â She said with a strong tone, but inside she was horrified of the fate now ahead of her. But if she could save Phoebusâ lifeâŠthen it would be worth it.
Phoebusâs dark eyes went extremely wide as it all happened so fast. He saw Frollo light the house on fire with the help of the windmill. By instinct alone Phoebus dove into the burning shelter, slamming himself through the glass window. He could now hear the sounds of faint coughs as smoke filled the entire cottage as well as the soldierâs lungs and eyes. Phoebus coughed horribly as he could hear himself step on shards of glass.
He aggressively took a few leaps forward and took both of the Miller children in his arms, ordering the parents to follow his lead behind him. The soldier then ran out of the burning building, only for it to burst and explode within seconds of the family exiting. He gave the children back to their parents as they then thanked him. The soldierâs heart beat heavy in his chest as he looked on at the scene of the house burning in shock. All in one moment one of Frolloâs men took a hard blow to the back of Phoebusâ head, sending the Captain to his knees.
The rest of the soliderâs then forced Phoebus into an execution position as if he were about to be beheaded as one of the steadied a sword to Phoebusâs neck. Frollo explained his penalty would be death due to his insubordination in saving the Miller family. âConsider it my highest honor Sir.â Phoebus talked back as he closed his eyes waiting for the sword to come down and get it over with. Within seconds he could feel his life flash before him, and tiny memories of his life before this moment began to fill his head in remembrance. The sound of Esmeraldaâs familiar voice then distracted Phoebus as well as everyone else and he took the opportunity to stand up and punch both of the guards out behind him.
Chained Together || Phoebus & Esmeralda
Phoebus went completely still then, as he stopped dead in his tracks. He blinked his dark eyes slowly twice and thought to himself, had he indeed gone soft for her? Phoebus wasnât one to get so soft too often, and he wasnât one for emotions when it came to himself.
âWellâŠ..IâŠ.â He cleared his throat then and lifted their chained wrists up. âI was sort of making a punâŠâ The sun god smirked âTill death to us partâŠwere attached..literally! even if we were too dead we would still be chained..â He said chuckled only a little then, hoping now she would get his joke or not think it was too cheesy of him.
Esmeralda could only nod her head slowly at his reply, for perhaps she was reading far into this playful relationship than she should be. Phoebus was a flirt, much like she, but sometimes the lines became blurred and emotions could start to form.
It was merely a thoughtâŠ
The Romani dancer smirked a tiny bit, hiding what she truly felt about his answer and took a deep swig of her wine. Clopin was a trickster and though Esmeralda found his joke quite amusing, it appeared that Phoebus was less than impressed about it all.
âI donât think this will last more than a day.â She assured him, leaning back on her chair comfortably.
Phoebus chucked slightly then, thinking how ridiculous it would be if the spell lasted for more than a day, maybe days, or even weeks. âIf it lasted a lot longer, Frollo would be pretty pleased come to think of it.â The soldier chuckled at his dark joke.Â
âThe wanted gypsy dancer Esmeralda finally in chains..â Phoebus said rolling his eyes at Frolloâs obsession for her.Â
Esmeralda & Phoebus {Truth or Dare?}
Phoebus rolled his eyes and smirked at Esmeraldaâs imitation of him. âAllrightâŠ.is that the best you can do?â He grinned âI was just going way too easy on you..âÂ
He sat back in his chair then and crossed his arms over his chest as he cooly stared back at the gypsy girl. âMy turn nowâŠDare! I suppose..âÂ
âWay too easy is an understatement. Youâve never played a game with me before.â Esmeralda told him, a sly smirk on her dark lips. Partying or trying to outwit a Romani was a very tough thing to do, and Esmeralda had the most wonderful teacher, Clopin, to show her the tricks of the trade. Though her own personality and charm seemed to help her greatly.
âDare?â Esmeralda repeated, âThatâs a mighty dangerous thing.â She cocked her head to the side and wondered what she could do to make Phoebus push his golden limits. She could have him embarrass himself in front of Paris, but that would give her no satisfaction. She could have him do something silly to her brother, but that would only piss Clopin off; not a bad idea.
Or, she could choose something which would make him very vulnerable. Something he was not used to.
âAlright.â Esmeralda decided as she sat forward in her chair, looking at him with her emerald eyes. âI dare you, to kiss the most wanted woman in Paris.â
Herself.
Phoebus folded his arms and leaned back in his chair. He shook his head then âAnd Iâm bad at this game?â He smirked, shaking his head almost in disappointed. He leaned forward then and closed his eyes, capturing Esmeraldaâs lips in a passionate kiss for just a few moments.Â
He sat back then âWay too easy..â He sighed âI have to say Iâm pretty disappointed in this dare...â The Captain smiled then, his eyes challenging the gypsy girl.Â

On this fine day, Belle could be found wandering the halls of the town library. As usual, no new books were present, that she knew, but somehow being surrounded with stories of adventure, love, and mystery seemed to make her feel as if she was at home. Carelessly, the beauty stroked the spines of the books she passed, impervious to men gawking at her from outside the windows of the library. Because Belle was almost constantly musing, she often left actions directed towards her like this unnoticed. As time passed, Belle realized she must be heading home for lunch. And so the beauty said her farewells to the librarian and made her way out the door. Instantly the men tried to act as if they were preoccupied; one calling out a greeting. Belle, seeing the best in people, returned it with a simple, âBonjour!â, but the men were not going to let an opportunity like Belle pass. The few townsmen followed her on her route towards the small cottage which she lived in. It didnât take long for the beauty to notice, for she stopped walking on the busy street to confront them. Belle nervously chewed on her bottom lip while facing them; the town seemed to be buzzing with life and seemed unaffected by rising tension. Almost immediately did she begin to feel uncomfortable, asking them if they maybe needed her assistance for something. One replied quite rudely, making remarks that she could help him with various tasks. The beauty furrowed her brows, a red tint appearing on her face. She knew she was perfectly capable of handling a situation like this, for she had been in one like this countless times before. Belle kept quiet and decided to walk away only to find another man mysteriously behind her. She let out a small, âOh!â in response. Maybe I canât handle this oneâŠBelle thought silently
âYouâd think Iâd be better at this....â The young Captain mumbled to himself, as he was thumbing through the pages of a map that seemed to be a directory of the french countryside as well as small towns that existed within it. Phoebus frowned as his golden brows furrowed, obviously a bit confused at the maps instructions, and not exactly aware of where exactly he and Achilles were now located.Â
However the Captainâs attention was taken away from the map and how lost he was when he heard a woman struggling with a group of men. He had heard the men make crude remarks towards her, and he rolled his eyes at such mediocracy. He then decided to take action, since it seemed like the group of men were not going to let her get away, as they came closer and taunted her more right before the Captainâs eyes.
âNot exactly the best way to charm a lady...â Phoebus cut in, a playful smirk on his lips. He placed a gloved hand to his sheath in case any of them wanted to pull anything, as he stepped closer to the scene. âIâd leave her alone..unless you want to get smacked by a breadbasket. Phoebus inquired, observing that Belle held a basket with a book inside, around her forearm.Â
Introducing Queen Elsa | Royal Ball | Elsa & Phoebus
âOf Course your majesty!â Phoebus nodded as he gave a deeper bow before the ice Queen. He then returned to his feet âShall we?â He gestured to Elsa as he proceeded to enter into the ball just slightly behind her. With a snap of his golden fingers he had the rest of his men follow his lead.
Phoebus had been thinking to himself that perhaps this job seemed like a bit too ostentatious, however he knew how important Royals were to their kingdom and to their people. The ball was grand and everyone was dressed to the nines, there had to be close to thousands of guests at the party tonight and really the whole event was almost overwhelming.Â
The soldier lined up with the Queen as she was about to be announced into the party. âIntroducing Queen Elsa of Arendelle!â A speaker shouted as trumpets sang at the mention of Elsaâs title and name. âOops..â Phoebus thought to himself as he remembered calling the Queen by Princess earlier before.
Elsa held her head tall as she was announced. A few people turned their heads upon hearing her name. Then the whispers started. Tales of Queen Elsa and her power were quick to travel about the world. Some were rumors, others held little truth.Â
As she walked down the steps, she turned to the Captain and adjusted the gloves on her hands. âIâŠI hope you understand what your job here is,â she said to him in a low voice so that only he could hear her. âYour job isnât to protect meâŠitâs to protect them from me.â
She looked out at the people. A few were still staring, but others had returned to their socializing and dancing. Elsa took a deep breath and folded her hands in front of her.Â
âI have no intention of hurting anybodyâŠitâs justâŠwhat I can do can be unpredictable at timesâŠâ she said softly.
âOf course youâre highness.â Phoebus answered with a stern nod.As Elsa walked a little ways in front of Achilles and himself he couldnât help but comment under his breathe. âBoy does she mean business...thought this was a party...âÂ
Phoebus then directed his men to a few posts about the ballroom of the castle, with a few pointing gestures and a few snaps of his gloved fingers, just in case they were to be surrounded, for whatever reason.Â
At Your Service, Sir!
Phoebus kept a blank and serious stare as the Prince and the rest of his guards rode to meet Phoebus in the wood. In times like this the Captain liked to seem professional as possible though deep down he always wanted to crack a joke at the seriousness of his job at times. Phoebus studied the Prince and the rest of his men, as his dark eyes quickly scanned them all. He thought they looked like typical royal guards, as well as the Prince with ruffled sleeves and detailed embroidered suits, which the Captain thought always looked ridiculous and funny on fully grown men.
The Captain gave a slight bow of his helmeted head and said âNo youâre Highness, Iâm Captain De Chateaupers simply reporting for duty.â
Kitâs brow creased at this Captainâs response. Reporting for duty? Did his father call for more staff? The prince looked sidelong at his Captain who gave a mere shrug in return.Â
âI am terribly sorry, my good man,â Kit began trying to repress a smile. âBut where exactly are you headed towards? That kingdom towards the north?â
Phoebusâ dark eyes shifted back and forth as he too became confused at the situation and the Princesâs behavior towards him. âDoes he not know hes the Prince?â Phoebus thought to himself, and he would have joked about that and smirked but he knew that kind of joking towards a royal member could cost him his job and his head. âWell....no...â The Captain started âIâm headed towards you! You are Prince Christopher, Uh...right?â The soldier questioned a little unprofessionally, cocking a golden haired eyebrow.Â
