good morning @ ahri & lapis
wavelengthsurfer:
Lapis listened to her laugh. It sounded like music to her and it was like a song sheâd love to put on loop and listen to. She would say that a lot about other songs but this wasnât the same.
The only thing that startles her isnât that Ahriâs foot wasnât on her knee, it was the warmth of her hand replacing the cold metal fork against her hand. She was done eating sure, but she had just put her fork down. She had the coffee mug in her other hand but the warmth Ahriâs hand gave off was different. It was a comfort. She was a goner for this one and falling fast for her too. Did she finally find the one who would stay?
Maybe.
She intertwined their fingers, letting her fingers lock up with Ahriâs on the table top. Warm kitty fox.
Hers. That sounded nice in her headâ
Wait what? Her house? In town? Oh!
âAh good that weâre still in Rosedale. That means less of a problem of me getting home then.â She laughed. It was good. It was great actually. Things would be so much easier if whatever this is was going to continue.
She tilts her head to the side, an almost too innocent look on her face, maybe of even dumbfound and a dash of playful nature on the side.
âGetting home?â âYou werenât planning to try to leave Ahri alone already were you?â
A cheeky grin paints her lips, her eyes moving in a similar confident manner.
âNo, no ~ â âYouâre going to have to give me a good reminder of last night.â
Ahri brings up the girlâs interlaced hand to rest it against her cheek, keeping their eyes clearly meeting. She finally drops her gaze, deciding to trail small kisses up Lapisâs wrist. She may or may not be reveling in the girlâs reactions.
âThatâd be a shame, maybe even torture.âÂ
Breakfast over? Last time she checked, her dessert sat in front of her. That was a part of breakfast, no?
