I’ve noticed more recently that people do ask this, so I wanted to get ahead of it. I don’t care if you ship yourself or an OC of yours with a particular character I have a lot of interest in. I genuinely think it’s cool—don’t be surprised if I do repost it here, I think it’s rad! >:3c

🍓⋆.˚ Do you have any Toons that you enjoy/resonate with? Yeah! I enjoy: Goob, Sprout, Blot, Cocoa, Shelly, Rudie, Cosmo, Ginger, Vee, Spraps and Glisten in general! In terms of resonating with? I took a bunch of dw bingo sheets for fun just to make it easier to navigate, but here are my top ones! There’s obviously a clear winner—who said that?!

🍓⋆.˚ This is an open space for you to critique Dandy’s World and its creator. I think criticism is important and should have its place—though do keep in mind that I still have the right to delete or frankly commentate on it if I feel it isn’t in good faith.

🍓⋆.˚ Are you going to write stuff here? Not likely outside of ramblings or hcs. I have a separate blog for writing X reader that I might share if you’re ever interested, but I won’t do that here (may reblog stuff occasionally though).

Ok, we need to talk about what’s going on.

First, I want to apologize to you, I should have told you about this when I first found out, but my own nerves and processing have gotten in the way of that. This isn’t a post I want to make, but I know a lot of you come here for your dandy’s world news, and it’s my responsibility to keep you updated on things like this.

There is sufficient evidence Qwel was aware of Rox being a groomer as easily as 2021, and the both of them have been grooming and manipulating their staff.

In regards to BlushCrunch Studios

As of yet, Qwel has yet to make a statement or even acknowledge what’s happening, but considering she has a habit of trying to ignore hints that reflect badly on her, I’m sure her suddenly going MIA isn’t a coincidence.

I know it’s a lot to process and I’m sure you feel powerless, but let’s start with what we can do.

1. Start putting pressure on Qwel. The comments for the YouTube channel and TikTok comments are still open. Let her know that she needs to acknowledge what’s happening. That being said, no insults, no threats, nothing like that. Not because she needs to be treated gently, but I know people like her, and behavior like that is only going to make her feel like what she’s doing now is justified

2. No financially supporting the game. That means no buying game passes, no merch, no ichor. If she won’t act like she cares about the fanbase, then we gotta start hitting her where it hurts, her wallet.

3. Do what you can to support the victims. Obviously you shouldn’t push yourself beyond what you can handle, but believe what they say, spread the word around. It takes a lot of courage to speak out, and we need to show up when they do.

From what I can tell the victims, at least Joji, are fine with people still engaging with the community and making fan content, as long as it doesn’t financially support Qwel. I don’t know what that means for you, I can’t decide that for you, and I don’t want to. But I can’t in good conscience pretend nothing is happening and not at least try to use whatever power I have to sway folks away from buying things in game.

What does that mean for this blog? I don’t know. I’d like to keep updating the board, but I worry at this point it would be more of an advertisement for the game itself. You guys might me see more of my general nonsense and of my plush, but if anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know.

Finally, and this is very important. A lot of people are going to tell you otherwise a lot, and it’s going to feel true, but you’re not a bad person for having complex thoughts on a complex problem. You’re not a bad person for worrying about what’s going to happen to something you emotionally connected to. You’re not a bad person for being afraid of losing something that means a lot to you.

Good afternoon everyone!

I was initially gonna post this on my main; but it makes much more sense to do it here as well as re-blog it to my fic page (as I have wrote a singular fic in relationship to Dandy’s world)—I really don’t know all that much about the situation and I’m waiting for a lot of dust to settle before dictating what I’ll do next. All I will say for now is that I support victims and holding people accountable—your love for a media shouldn’t blind you to the harm that somebody/a team could/has done.

I’m not accusing anybody of anything because, I just don’t fully know what’s happening?? I can say that this was something I wanted to bring up because I also think y’all’s reaction to any sort of possible criticism is a little unhealthy? I know this comes with the territory of having such a young fan base; and for that? I have a lot of grace for children, this is more towards the adults. Why are we negotiating how bad someone’s experience really was to soothe your conscience when consuming media that is being discussed about? I understand that this is not a black-and-white thing to state, but I do want to speak my mind as this is MY space. US AS A COMMUNITY HAVE TO BE OPEN TO THE IDEA THAT THERE MIGHT BE SOMETHING WRONG, and I understand that’s a hard pill to swallow for many people as we’ve become so attached to the characters/story/game/etc.—but we can’t let that stop us from being critical of a possible serious situation.

All of this to say, at the present moment (and the foreseeable future), I will NOT be producing anymore Dandy’s world fan content NOR spending another dime on this game/franchise.

Just single-handedly had one of the best runs I’ve ever had in my life, we made it to floor 50 (51) as a public lobby organized run [NO VC]. Not only did I finally beat my former highest floor [42]—but I did it playing as one of my favorites (Shelly).

I had a whole character arc during the entire 2 hours and 21 minutes too; had a “emotional support Vee” that I was actively teamed with—absolute sweetheart of a player—with early in the run… only for them to die to Dyle. Was kinda bittersweet not having this Vee who adamantly supported me on every floor when the rest of us finally made it to 50.

Shout up to my Vee plushie for helping me during the home stretch.

I’ve been wanting to make another Dandy’s world OC, came up with this little guy—Cravat is in charge of backstage production. Works pretty closely with just about every toon that performs on stage frequently. He’s literally a necktie, so they can move bits of his body around to form “arms” when they need them.

I thought it would be really interesting to push myself to figure out how to make a weird object like this work, I like the direction I took it—made em lowkey snake-like.

Doesn’t talk often, nice fella though! Just wants to make sure that everything falls into place as it should.

Don’t ask his favorite performance, he probably won’t tell you (he loves Razzle and Dazzle‘s performance the most; plus they are a delight to work with)

Would probably be terrible at extracting.
