I am 18 years old and have been kicked out of my family’s house. I live with my best friends foster family and we share a room while I sleep on the floor. I secured a job at Wendys but I have no means of transportation except for uber and lyft and both of them are around $10 to work and $10 back. $20 round trip. My last paycheck from my job before I was kicked out was $200. The foster family is asking for $100 for rent. I am supposed to buy my own food, hygiene supplies, blankets, pillows, clothes, etc. I am running out of basic necessities - shampoo, deodorant, socks, underwear - and I have no money to buy them. I also have no money for a ride to work. Without any way to get to work, I’ll end up losing my job and losing the roof over my head and I will end up homeless. With your help, I will be able to go to work and put food in my stomach and buy necessary hygiene products. I have 3 weeks til my next paycheck.
