compassion is the lifeblood of the path to peace

it is to know that we all have our sorrows, every living being... all our own trips, trots, adventures and mires.  We are in it together, we are all each a part of the greatness of the cosmos, and we all know it in our very intimate personal way.  The time has come for the beautiful intimacy of our own life experiences and the overlap we have with other beings to flourish ... we are all truly meant to fall into love.  A great love, a love of prosperity, a beautiful love.  A warmth, a sure joy and sheer kindness that does not deny the situation, but works with what is present to bend our flows into openness.

Our elements, naturally consisting and subsisting, dissolve into dissolution moment by moment.  Likewise, moment by moment a whole new experience takes form.  Sounds, shapes, environs, and our sense of space is so intimately connected with our visual info that it takes some conscious effort to really sit down and let the mind get back to itself.  I have always admired the saying “you are the eyes of the world” ... a text by the great Longchempa and also a song by the Grateful Dead.  Spiritual connectedness, interrelatedness, a sense of wholeness and creativity and belonging, all converge in the positive.  

Breathe deep, for we are the cosmos breathing.  Smile, for we are the cosmos smiling.  Reach out beyond the barriers that divide us and offer your presence, offer your aware-ity of the situation.  The world, she unfolds in her own effortless ease, may we fully be there and be here fully to let the knowing first become cool like the stony banks of a river, and finally like the waters of the channel flowing.  If the water is still, it is the banks that are flowing.
