I’ve always wondered what it would be like to have family problems. It’s been a long while since such things have even dreamt of plaguing me. How intriguing. One-way ticket, that’s not negotiable. As much as I would like to leave this place permanently there’s business to attend, important things to stay around for.

One must apply enough force to break it down and clear the path. You look smart, despite how deceiving looks can be, use your head. 

And how absolutely lovely for your parents. Perhaps you should return to them and mewl into their ears about how unfortunate it is that you've met with some disheartened failure. They'll surely pat you on the back while wearing that flashy Captain's badges and tell you how you'll succeed again next time.

The pressure at her back that forced her against him nearly leaves her breathless. It’s moreso the proximity that stole the wind from her than anything else. The way her being instantly ignited with a heated yearning when it came into contact with him. The forceful pull of her into his form is contrasted by the gentle sweeping of her dark locks. She turns her chin just enough to kiss the palm of the passing gloved hand before returning her attention to him and his lips.

She’s amused by his words and it’s briefly seen through the twitch of her lips and the gleam in her eyes. It’s only lost to the hungry touch of his tiers against her own which match his fervor. Her porcelain touch has found itself up against the leather of his clothing, sliding against the worn smoothness and to his neck, pulling herself ever closer, were that even possible. He breaks the union of their lips to speak and the smugness in his voice makes the brunette shake her head, all while leaving fleeting kisses along the angle of his jaw, placing a playful nip at the base if his neck when she reaches it, “I don’t want to hear it.” She mumbles against his skin. Though she’s sure they both know how difficult it is to deny Killian anything. Its a trait that she at times dislikes, but has come to grow fond of. Typically there isn’t much she wants to deny him and this is one of those instances. So adapt she will. For They both shall benefit from it.

Haleigh finds the material of his shirt once more. This time with a goal in mind and a task at hand. Deft fingers undo whatever bindings kept the well defined build of his chest from her own supple skin. Her actions are fevered, hurried, hungry. She doubted that the constantly reappearing thirst she had for the Captain would ever be whet. Things like this, surprises like these, only fed the fire that already burned strongly within her. She found his lips once more, her body melting against his as soon as flesh meets flesh. The mere sensation urging her hips into naturally rolling against his, aching with suspense. “You should, however, count yourself lucky that I’m willing to adapt for you.” Sje breathes across his lips, a hint of a smirk flickering across.

Her token of affection was one that he found foreign. In the vast repertoire of women that Killian took to bed there was never really one who found the opportunity to be affection in any means. It was nothing that he really minded or cared for ---- and in all's honesty he would be a bit turned off by it in a usual scenario. But now it simply amused him to see the way she turned and pressed her lips to his hand. It was enough to cause one of his brows to raise slightly, and then all at once it went away at her new closeness. Haleigh was an intriguing creature in her own right. Any attempts to study her patterns and habits would be in vain for she was as changing as the weather. Never consistent, never predictable. Perhaps that was one of the features he enjoyed the most about it, aside from her resplendant beauty and strength.

It was some kind of magnetism that had his form shifting closer to her teeth when she nipped at the base of his neck. The warmth of her breath against his skin nearly rose the finer hairs at the back of his neck. At her motions to peel him from his vest and shirt he stands still, watching her hands with those icy hues of his. It would be impossible for him to wipe away the smirk on his lips ---- that would require he not be completely proud of himself at any given moment. Killian was incapable of being anything less than amused with his person. Another amused, musical chuckle escaped from his nose in the seconds before her awarding kiss and ekes through their lips. However the notion is abandoned entirely at the grind of her hips. It's almost as if a switch flicked in him: all at once the Captain's attention falls centered to that one pivotal motion, as important as the climax to any story though instead of falling to the end it simply keeps rising.

In one smooth motion he found his hands dropping to her legs, shifting against the lovely exposed flesh before catching the back of her knees and tugging upward. It forced the connection between their hips as he turned, made for an empty place at the closest wall to press her against ---- to force more of that delicious contact. Not once did his tiers leave her own, instead the motion became more driven and hungry. Teeth tugged at the lower of her lips between fresh kisses and if she listened hard enough she could heard the tiniest and faintest idea of a growl at the back of his throat.

Haleigh watched his almost languid movements, noticing the slight amusement that glimmered in his blue eyes. It made her want to both slap a hand across his face and force her lips against his. Her chocolate gaze flickered back to the male that had accompanied her to her flat. She noted the initial twist of confusion take his features before he verified what the leather clad stranger was saying. She raised her own brow at the male, “You heard him, have a good night.” She briefly let a feigned smile pass her lips, as she ushered him past the threshold, enough to close the door behind him.

Her honey-colored gaze regards the pirate once more, a smirk ghosting across plush lips. She takes steps towards his figure that is so comfortably propped in the corner, the shadows of the room cast across his features. She pauses only when she is just out of his reach. Her fingertips reach across her chest to the zipper hidden along her side, sliding it down achingly slow, exposing her porcelain skin inch by glorious inch. It only takes a shrug for the rich material slip off her shoulders and down past her womanly hips. The fallen article of clothing reveals the satin and lace bustier along with the matching garter belt and thong. She traces a finger along the length of her lean leg, running over the rich fabric of her lingerie, and to the smooth skin of her abdomen.

Her gaze never strays from Killian's and she prefers it that way. She has always admired the way he looked at her, the way every inch of skin seemed to be eaten up by the blue abyss of his eyes. She steps forward, taking his free hand and placing it at the curve of her hip. The familiar rise of excitement that accompanied his touch causes an internal shiver. She's become nearly addicted to that sensation for the simple fact that something good always followed.

She's close now. Her bare abdomen is mere centimeters from the smooth leather of his clothing. She can feel his breath thick with rich alcohol on her skin, "I'm not usually one for surprises." She murmurs before her lips find his.

For a moment Killian's eyes lingered on her male companion, watching the dismissal go a step further as she turned and brushed him off ---- sealing the door behind her in a manner that had a grin cracking his lips. Fingers continued to slowly swirl the liquid in the glass and as she approached her rose the rim to his lips and turned it upward to actively finish it off. Once he was done with his beverage he turned to set it on the nearest surface and allowed his gaze to shift back to her: clearly the most interesting thing in the room. The grin, which had spread easily across his tiers, relaxed into a pleased smirk and Killian found himself canting his head to the side to consider her form.

Haleigh was all curve, smooth and flawless flesh: woman. She had devious doe eyes for fooling those around her, always alight with a glimmer of trickster mischief ---- another attractive quality. That had always been their relationship however ... teasing jabs laced with some kind of sexual tension before it bubbled over and oozed from fantasy to reality. The Captain would not complain and really he had no reason to. Like some highlighted guide he followed her fingers: along the path of her leg, over her stomach, away from the trail and to the full curve of her breasts. Once more his brow quirked and when she stepped forward to take his hand he did not move away ... he merely watched and allowed it to happen.

It took all of a second to allow the moment to linger before he tugged her close ---- flush against his chest with his hand at the small of her back. Gloved fingers brushed the hair away from her cheekbone, behind her ear before murmured against the brush of her lips, "I know you're not. But you'll adjust." There was a certain cockiness to his tone, a lingering pause before he stole her tiers against his own; full and wanting, insisting against her with a swap of selected alcohol transferring with their tongues. Even still he managed a rich but soft chuckle, hearty in his chest against her own smooth flesh. Killian pulled away for a moment, remarking, "See? Adaptation."

Time had passed much faster than she had expected. Before she realized the sun had set and the moon had taken it’s place. The stairs were a bit more difficult to maneuver after the five cosmos and two shots she had had. When she finally makes it to the floor her flat is on she jiggles the key into the lock, hearing it click and smiling, “It shouldn’t be too me-”

She practically chokes seeing Killian standing there in the corner of her living room. The male guest she had brought along with her is practically wedged between the door and the frame obviously confused and a bit disappointed. “I didn’t think you were coming over…” It’s obvious she’s a bit uncomfortable and almost upset with herself seeing as she does prefer the company of the pirate over the other. She just hadn’t expected him to surprise her in the middle of the week and with a command that she really didn’t want to disobey.

Perhaps he would have been a little miffed if he wasn't so pleased with himself at all times. Haleigh was not his woman, but she was certainly something in regards to him. It amused him more than anything, the way she almost attempted to conceal her boon of the evening. Killian merely shifted his stance, pressing his weight more fully into a leg and swirled the liquor in his glass. Surmising the situation for a short while he makes a point to raise the glass to his lips and sip at the beverage before resuming his comfortable stance. "She's home safe now, mate. You're free to go."

His tone suggested it was a thorough dismissal.

The man was welcome to challenge the position of Killian, but he would fail. It was the flustered expression on Haleigh's face that had him smirking so wide, however. Raising one of his pronounced brows he merely waited for the man to scamper off, or begin to, before he resumed what he was saying. "I'm a patient man when I want to be, Ms. Malice. Now is not one of those times."
