Baby Fever

I don’t know if its all of mercury being in retrograde but I’m experiencing severely high urges of baby fever.  It also could be the fact that I started dating one of the most attractive men (physically and mentally) I’ve ever met.  Perhaps it’s just biology..I will want babies when I meet someone who is a superior gene pool that I want to date. Maybe it’s also what happens when a woman is 27.  All I know is this year I’ve been thinking more about babies and less about men

Fake Date or Group Dinner?

The Turk invites me out as his date with his married friends.

He does not invite me to the group dinners

What does that mean?

I'm the fake date….is that a step away from escort?

I'm not the group person date

So am I the wife or the mistress….and who has more fun?  Fraternizing with couples or in groups.

I think the intimate situation wins out but could be less fun.

Would you rather

Have a player who takes you to fancy dates, but when they're available (so 80 percent of the time, calls you up when he's available and selflessly goes down on you like its his job??

Or would you have a safer option of someone who doesn't try even in the bedroom, doesn't take you on dates, does't invite you to events unless he's specifically looking for a fake date

Dinner

Had another big dinner tonight with the model wrangler.  He's not a promoter, just a trust fund baby who knows a lot of pretty girls.  Dinners with him are painful at times.  Amazing at others.  He's good at bringing people together and I've taken amazing trips with him.  But - he's scamming your time.  You hang out with people with money and beautiful women.  The empty space that exists between their ears doesn't come for free.  I've met some decent people through these events but really it's hanging out with beautiful stagnant air.  

Sometimes I go just for the social experiment.

Tonight we went to a nice Mexican gastronome restaurant.  Only there were so many girls I felt like an animal.  I was stuck between Brazilian models and stoner models.  Meaning - I got no food.  Both girls are skinny as hell and can eat whatever they want.  The guys were nice, but I wanted to be sitting at home snuggling with finance guy.

Finance guy is no saint though, he was out at dinner with friends but I never know if that is the truth or if he was on a date.  I left with my friend, the Turk who took me home,  He's polite…maybe not dating material in terms of getting serious, but offers something that the finance guy does not.  He's chivalrous and takes me out.  The wandering eye is a deterrent but for now, I'll have fun with the casualness.

Shanghai Drunken Love

2:00 am I texted the finance guy "I love you" while wasted in Shanghai over Thanksgiving.

He responded: love you too.

We never talked about it since.

Now…I think that statement is true.  Maybe it takes some time to realize.

I keep coming back to him as my home base.

Is true love just that home base?

As I keep getting thrown into the world of trust fund babies, billionaires, millionaires, professional athletes, rockstars, music producers and human rights lawyers…I'm starting to think who I come back to as a home base is who ends up being the one for me

Emotionally Unavailable Finance Man

How do your ever expect to meet anyone?

You seem great on paper…successful, attractive, well dressed.

Yet incapable of engaging in human behavior necessary for companionship.

Are men really that bad at multitasking that when they are successful at work they are completely unsuccessful at maintaining a relationship?

Men in NYC - if you are worried about a finance man stealing your woman…don't be.  

They don't know how to take one on a date, follow up, make plans, and give a woman an orgasm.

Plus many have a wandering eye.

I stayed with this one because I thought he was different…only in the wandering eye part.  Everything else is true.  Are men this bad in the world that I'm willing to put aside all the other shit just because I think he could be faithful?!

And this hope is only because he's physically incapable of accomplishing anything that exists outside of his office.

I'm sorry emotionally unavailable finance guy, but you are out.

Here to shake things up

She looked up at him through those honey almond eyes and blinked

Reckless driving

Why did he go radio silent?  Ohhhh....he has a girlfriend.

40 selfies and fabricated romantic vacations, and false promises later, he drops off the planet leaving me cliff hanging with the last comment of "maybe one day I'll come surprise you in NYC"

Falling for an athlete is like fighting gravity.  Players are gonna play.

Met this professional soccer player enroute to the world cup. He sent me gorgeous selfies and romantic songs.  Was a cute little romantic distraction for three weeks before he disappeared on me.  Understandably I cut him a break since it was the world cup...but then when I still heard nothing and he disappeared on my I knew something had to happen.

2 mins of googling, and boom...I found it.  He has a live in girlfriend.  Surprise surprise.

Dating a model

Lots of people want to date me.  They think they can.  They have a great idea in their head that they can.  But in reality.  It's close to impossible.  A sliver inside me believes that there's this other awkward attractive nerd out there but that may just be a wavelength all on it's own that could never reach equilibrium with anyone else.

The only constant is change.

WTF does that mean.  "I'm in finance"  In the NYC dating world what I read is that "I'm in an industry where my only goal is making money.   Therefore even the best of the men in this industry are the worst hunters.  We won't pursue you, we sit back and expect prey to come to us, merely because we reak of money."  Good luck surviving in the wilderness, finance guys.
