well, hook saved charming's life and they all thanked him for doing it, then emma and killian kind of walked away from the others?? idk how to explain it, but they ended up alone and emma thanked him again. hook started flirting with her and emma flirted back and basically killian challenged her. well, he didn't exactly challenge her but there was this little conversation:

- perhaps gratitude is in order now

- yeah, that's what the 'thank you' was for

- is that all your father's life worth to you?

- please; you couldn't handle it

- perhaps you're the one who couldn't handle it

and that's when emma decided to snog him senseless kiss him because she was 'feeling good'. you can always watch this scene on youtube to see exactly what happened, but yeah, that's what this scene was about :)
