Yes, I agree they shouldn't have even changed her back story. I mean there was something amazing about her leaving the posh nobility life for tomb raiding, after surviving the plane crash at 21, and this being her life changing experience. But it bothered me less than the fact she is not herself anymore, even Zip's personality was ruined in Legend, I'm not gonna even start with Winston. This just makes me sad :(

Hey! Love your blog! Just wanted to know what do you think of the new Lara? She was never the same since Legend came out. It's like CD just took all of her attitude, wittiness, sassiness and everything that made her Lara, and wiped it out. Especially in the newest game, rewriting her bio and who her mentor was is one thing, but her personality? is completely another.

Oh my god, I couldn't agree more with this. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the new games, but Lara will probably never be the same and it makes me upset that they completely changed her. And I actually think that changing her background story is just as bad as changing her personality. It was something that didn't need to be done. And thank you.
