This YTP was begun on a live stream in 2022, and it became a heavy focus for many of them.

It took until 2025 but the finished version is finally complete!

Hey all! I'm excited to announce that I'm going to be helping my friend ‪Sarah Z (@dingdongyouarewrong) with a charity stream she's hosting next Monday, January 27th, from 10 am PST to 10 pm PST. I'll be working the back end and guesting, all the while Sarah will be playing Slay the Spire, talking to a bunch of amazing people.

All proceeds will be going to the Transgender Law Center, the largest national trans-led organization in the U.S. They do absolutely critical work providing legal assistance, fighting for policy changes, and supporting trans folks across the country. From helping with name changes and employment issues to advocating for trans immigrants and incarcerated individuals, TLC has been at the forefront of the fight for trans rights.

It's hard to do things for others when we are feeling vulnerable or unstable ourselves. But one of the most impactful things you can do for someone is provide relief - that is, doing something that makes them feel like they are burdened a little less, or that their world is not as troublesome as they'd thought.

You can do this by buying a meal for someone financially struggling - one less expense to worry about. You can offer to run an errand for them - one less trip to make. You can go out of your way to check out something they've made without needing to be shown - one less insecurity. You can express interest in spending time with them - one less lonely day.

You don't need to single-handedly be the savior of someone's whole world to be a hero for them. It is always better to do something small than to do nothing.

via NYPost: Immigration and Customs Enforcement is preparing to launch a “big f–king operation” across sanctuary cities — including Chicago and New York — immediately after President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, multiple sources told The Post.

Starting Jan. 21, multi-day “ground operations” will be launched across cities that have served as safe havens for migrants because the local authorities do not cooperate with the federal government when it comes to immigration issues, sources said.

I think one of the most important things to remember if you are a YouTube Poop creator specializing in humor is that at the end of the day, you are writing jokes. You are setting up your audience for a punchline or multiple punchlines. The key difference is that in YTP, you are mostly working with a limited word palette. That can be as much of an asset as it is a hindrance because it forces your brain to think within the context of what you are given, rather than making something up purely from scratch.

Also, you are bringing yourself to the table. Your experiences. Your insights. Very often your opinions. Not all of that is obvious in what you make, especially if you create for a mass rather than a select few, but when you watch what you've made in the past, you will notice a different side of yourself that may not reflect you today.

Above all, the jokes that you favor are going to be the ones that potentially hit the hardest. That's why you should create what you believe in; an emotional investment produces better results. That's why I look more fondly on videos I've made who's sources I watched many times over. They could be so terrible, or so funny, or it brought me back to a time I appreciate. And because I had an investment like that, I was able to create more and more easily.
