It’s sincerely hard to overstate just how guilty honey looks. I mean like they are cartoonishly guilty. This is perhaps the most elaborate system of fraud I’ve ever seen. Which makes it all the more funny how their internal spreadsheet which would totally never leak in the history of ever casually has them basically stating as much.
Like oh yeah we would totally love to fuck this big company over but we’re being watched and so that’s the reason our scam behavior automatically turned itself off. I mean the code in there is basically a flowchart detailing exactly how they’re deciding who to scam based on the likelihood of getting caught. This was genuinely a perfect plan if only nobody ever got to look inside any part of what they were doing under no circumstances. The sheer hybris contained in this strategy is awe-inspiring.
I know the legal consequences will be light but this feels like the exact type of situation where several distinct new types of crimes get created. I didn’t even know it was *possible* to be so blatantly breaking the law. It’s not a popcorn bucket we need, it’s a damn popcorn pool
