Okay, can we talk about this? I have never been more disgusted with an adult in my entire life. SHE CALLED LEELAH’S BEST FRIEND AND TOLD HER NOT TO COME TO THE FUNERAL. HOW EVIL AND DISGUSTING DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO ACHIEVE THIS LEVEL OF IDIOCY. She already had to deal with losing Leelah, but then she wasn’t allowed to watch her get laid to rest??? I won’t get too much into detail because I just want to hurry up and post this. Let me make this clear wearing a headdress is the utmost disrespectful thing you can do, you are physically promoting the genocide of an race, you are not honoring us, if you want to honor is then you would educate yourself on the true history of our people. Still I don’t think people will understand the severity of disrespect on this. We are not your costumes, we are not your sexual fetish. The horrors we have experienced should not be glamorized while today we are still struggling and looked down upon.
