True Monsters (Chapter 2)
The first chapter is a few posts below here
I wake up gasping, something I am not too pleased about. I feel my forearm, but there’s no trace of my cuts. I remember doing it, and my mind is filled with those images, the bloody images. I shake my head, clearing it and casting sweat off my body. Swinging my legs over the side of the bed, I brace my hands on my knees as I fight of a wave of nausea.
As soon as the urge to puke passes, I check my clock to see if it’s time to start my day yet. A bleak 5:45 is displayed on the wall, fifteen minutes to early for me to start. I groan, and contemplate going back to sleep, but wobble to my feet instead. On the way, my sheet falls to the ground. As I pick it up, I feel crusty patches, and mumble angrily about the worthlessness of the washing machine. I throw it on top of my bed, but a flash of color catches my eye. My sheets, a normal light green, have several large dark spots, and not in a spludge pattern. Pausing to think about it, I try to rub the sleep from my eyes and walk backwards, but stumble over a pile of junk I’d sworn was pushed against the closet. My mind, too muddled to care about all of this, can only think of getting to the shower to finish off my morning wood, which I happily oblige to.
I make it all the way through school today, much to the relief of my friends. However, they pry as to what the hell happened yesterday, and not wanting to win another trip to guidance, I make up a bullshit story about being sick. It was half-assed, and they all raised their eyebrows in incredulity, but they seem satisfied with it at the moment, except Jordyn. She opens her mouth to voice some argument, but I cut her off with another bullshit story of having to be home. I feel her suspicious eyes burning into my soul all the way home.
As soon as I cross the threshold into my house, the bitching starts.
“Where the fuck have you been? Why the fuck did your school call, telling me you skipped yesterday?” My dad yells this at me as I try to make it to my room. I bite my tongue, not wanting to antagonize him anymore.
“Don’t you fucking walk away from me, bastard! Get your ass back here now!”
I ignore him and lock myself in my room, planning on waiting him out. He slams the panty door, cans rattling in the holders, and I taste blood from where I’ve been biting my tongue.
“WHERE THE FUCK IS MY BEER!?” He yells. Shit. I forgot he’d be home today, and I hadn’t restocked his precious booze. My heart is slamming into my chest as I hear him barreling up the stairs, booming footsteps shaking the house. He slams into my door, rattling it on its hinges and slightly cracking the wood. He repeats the question, bellowing loud enough to shake dust off my bookcase. Terrified and wide-eyed, I spot my open closet, and run towards it, hoping to find something to protect myself with. My dad has stopped speaking coherently, and is ramming into the door, which is starting to splinter under his bulk. I push clothes and nick-knacks out of my way, searching desperately for any suitable weapon, when the pounding on my door stops.
In fact, everything had stopped. A pair of pants was frozen in the air, halfway falling off a hanger. My shirts and jackets were immobile with the ripple of frantic motion inscribed in the fabric. I try to touch something to determine why it wasn’t moving when a blinding light bursts from the corner of my closet, eradicating all shadows, and then shut off as fast as it happened, plunging the room into pure darkness.
My terror intensifies. This was following the same pattern as last night, but this wasn’t a nightmare! The steady breathing started up on, and two glowing purple dots cut through the darkness. They rose up and move towards me, stopping mere inches from my face. Jordyn’s suspicious stare earlier could not compare to the energy thrumming from these spots.
My body tries to shudder as they blaze into my eyes, but my petrified body wouldn’t respond. I try to take a deep breath, but even that response has been paralyzed by this monster. It inches closer, and I feel something on my cheek, a long thin pressure, travelling from the corner of my eye down to my chin. Some of the fiery energy left, and the pressure lifts off my face. The points turn slowly, fading away as some dark mass overtakes it.
After the lights completely fade away, I can’t see anything again, not even an afterimage. All sense of time is lost, and I don’t know how long I was frozen in place when my legs suddenly give out. I fall to the floor, and sunlight blasts through the partially closed blinds, illuminating papers and clothes tumbling down to the ground to join me.
The pins and needles quickly flood from my legs, chasing the feeling of paralysis away, and replacing it with horrid numbness. The sunlight streaming in blinds me, and after the oppressive silence earlier, even the background whirring of fans and soft music is deafening. I lay here until I realize something is wrong, asides the fact that reality was temporarily suspended. I t kept pressing against my consciousness, a very small something that wasn’t right.
Staggering to my feet, I pace around, trying to work out the feeling of numbness. Vertigo attempts to seize me, but I fight it off after gripping a chair to stabilize myself. Full mental function slowly returns, and I dedicated all my attention on figuring out what the problem is, but nothing seemed out of place, no odd sounds or strange smells.
And then it hit me like a wrecking ball to the stomach. I ran to my door, trip, and finish my dash on all fours, barely managing to get the door open in my delirium. I use the frame to pull myself up, quickly scanning the hall, searching. I regain balance, and start walking forward when I promptly fall on my face again.
I collapse onto some sort of mass. I groan and roll onto my back, compressing whatever the blob under me was. I take a deep breath; relax, when the mass moans.
Adrenaline kicks in, blasting me to my feet. I spin around, and press my back flat to the wall, certain my heart was rattling the house with its pounding beat. I stare at the blob to discern what it is, but spots in my eyes obscure my vision. Blinking, they slowly vanish, and horror contorts my face as the blob takes a coherent shape.
I drop down beside my prone father, shaking and yelling to try and wake him up. Nothing worked, so I flip him over and begin CPR. Drool leaks from the corner of his mouth, and starts to pool. I try once again to rouse him, but I know it won’t work. I breathe deep, mind and heart racing as I try to remember the steps. I grab my phone and dial 911, and jam it between my shoulder and ear, freeing my hands to remove my dad’s shirt. However, it seemed adamant to stay where it was; I ripped and tore at it, but to no avail. My frantic fingers pulled at the edges, the collar, even the baggy section around his abdomen, but nothing worked. My attention was diverted by the dispatcher, who was practically shouting into the phone now.
“Hello? What is your emerge-”
The phone line went dead, stealing my last line of defense. I let the phone slip out of the crevice I created, and it clatters to the floor. A pall of rage overcomes me now, and I let it flow through me, every injustice fueling my primeval fury. Without thinking, I smash and flail my arms, anger pouring out.
Inadvertently, my fist hits my dad, and a snap precludes a rib tearing through his shirt, tip shining white. I stare in horror and amazement, waiting for the blood. But even my mortification isn’t safe from my blistering inferno of rage, and my horror transforms into hatred.
“Why did you leave me!?” I yell at him, eyes bulging and brows furrowed. I ball my fists again, knuckles cracking. “You can’t be dead!” I start punching his face, which crumples under the barrage. A cheekbone spears through his skin, but no blood, no bruises, the only sign of punishment is the awful blanched bone. I strike again, crushing his nose into his head, the sick sound of breaking cartilage reverberating through the air.
Eventually, exhausted from my explosions, I stop attacking my father, his ruined face mocking my wasted energy, white bones stark against his pal demolished face. His lips are mere flaps of skin, and most of his teeth are missing. This macabre creation was made worse by the lack of concealing blood, every flaw standing out in stark relief.
I sit back and stare at the fruits of my destruction, repulsion mixed with satisfaction, smile washed out by the taste of bile.
His protruding rib sticks out of his chest like an iceberg, tip shining and mocking me, jagged edges wickedly curved.
“Look at me.” His broken body whispered, open cuts puckering like lips. “This is your doing. Are you proud now?”
I puke, splattering vomit on the carpet. Tears stream from my face as the realization finally hits; my dad is gone. I rock forward and hug his decrepit body, avoiding his broken bones. Tears are flowing from my face into his shirt, soaking into the unmoving cloth. Images of previous interactions clamor for attention in my mind, pleasant childhood experiences mixing with the atrocities after he became an alcoholic. I fall back, confused and scared, and bury my face between my knees, hiding from the cadaver.
Sadly, The Impala Can't Fly, Or Dean's Misadventures With TSA
“Dammit!” Dean yells from his room. “Sam, what is with these TSA regulations? Checked luggage, carry-on luggage, 3oz container rule, what the hell? I just wanna bring some shit to England!”
“Dean, it’s simple. Use these bottles for carry-on liquids, there’s a 25 pound limit with carry-on, a 50 pound limit per regular luggage, and you have to check all your weapons. British Customs is a little more relaxed than American, but there’s a handgun ban, so we’re gonna need to pull a few strings. Anyway, aren’t we looking for a ghost? What are all these guns for?” Sam asks when he enters Dean’s room, where most of his arsenal is laid out on the floor.
“I, uh, like them. Besides, we’re going to need something, at least.” Dean replies.
“We don’t need all this. Hell, we can’t take any of this, there’s no way to sneak all this over. Dean, we don’t have the Impala’s trunk to smuggle all this shit. When’s the flight, anyway?” Sam asks.
“I cancelled the flight. We’re taking a boat across.” Dean says, not bothering to look at Sam’s undoubtedly shocked face.
“Dean, what the hell! I know you don’t like flying, but we need to get there before 2100. With time zones, that gives us less than 15 hours to get across the Atlantic. The plane would hardly get us there in time.” Sam says. “Dammit Dean, this was important!” Sam stalks off to his side and throws clothes into his duffle.
“Hey, Sammie,” Dean says, causing Sam to look at him with a glower. “Trust me.” He completes, flashing his signature smile.
30 minutes later, Sam and Dean were standing on a rundown pier, the Impala’s headlights illuminating a single car ocean ferry. Sam turns toward Dean, and smacks him on his head.
“Dean, is this about your love of the Impala? Can you really not leave her alone? How the hell are we going to arrive on time now? And why were you bitching about TSA’s luggage restrictions if we aren’t even flying?” Sam pressed.
“Woah there Sammie, ease up a bit! I got this under control. We’re gonna need the Impala in England, there’s no way I’m driving one of their prick cars. Second, I was doing research on this thing, and we can’t take this thing without serious firepower. And I sent some things with a friend who’s coming up later, and TSA sucks.” Dean says.
“Whatever, will this thing even be able to get across the Atlantic without capsizing?” Sam responds.
“Sammie! I told you to trust me, I got this from a family friend, it’s done transatlantic before, and well under 10 hours. We’ll be fine.” Dean assures Sam.
“I gotta hand it to you Dean, we made it across the Atlantic. And what, we only puked four times? Totally fine.” Sam, now that he wasn’t vomiting, started sassing Dean again. “Let’s get off this thing before I burn it.” Dean got into the Impala while Sam finished anchoring the ferry to the dock.
Before Sam could finish, Dean drove the Impala onto land, causing Sam to roll his eyes at Dean’s childish behavior. He jogged down to the passenger door, but as he reached for the handle, Dean drove forward. Sighing, Sam went for it again. Dean pulled forward, and Sam saw him laugh. As Sam lunged for the handle, Dean sped off down to the end of the street, and popped his head out, laughing.
“Jerk!” Sam yells, but joins in with Dean’s laughter. Dean put the Impala in reverse, and started to come back to Sam. He shot a glance forward, and when Dean looked back, Sam was gone.
Nobody Gets The Doctor's References, Because They Haven't Happened Yet
As soon as the Doctor jumped out of the TARDIS, he knew he was in trouble. He was at the edge of a military compound, locking eyes with a rather startled looking soldier.
“Sorry, wrong time.” The Doctor said sheepishly, and started to walk back to his console.
“Wait!” The soldier shouted. “Are you the Doctor?”
The Doctor stopped midstride, winced, and turned around. “Yeah, that's me. Can I help you?”
“Sir, my name is Captain William Lennox, welcome to Baskerville.” he responded, snapping to a quick salute. The Doctor rolled his eyes, and muttered something about the military. He stepped out of the TARDIS, and followed the captain.
“Captain, what exactly is this place?” The Doctor asked.
“It’s a British research facility” Lennox said, his rifle bouncing against his leg as they walked.
“With military guards,” the Doctor replies, incredulously.
“It’s an important facility!” Lennox said, testily. The Doctor rolled his eyes and kept following him.
After a few minutes, they arrived at the main security gate. While the Captain talked with the person in the hut, a Jeep pulled up on the other side. The man in the passenger seat was turned around in his seat, talking to the person in the back, hidden behind tinted windows. They pulled away quickly, squealing tires. The Doctor turned to look at Captain Lennox quizzically, who was also distracted by the Jeep speeding away.
Dismissing it, they left the security booth, and as the captain was handing the Doctor his pass, an explosion sounded behind them, and both men dropped to the ground. Lennox, who managed to twist mid-fall, landed facing down the road they came up, just in time to avoid the burning chassis of a car.
A klaxon started blaring, and Lennox ran back to the Doctor, who was just getting to his feet, and they hurried towards the research buildings while the rescue squad rushed passed them, sirens screaming and lights flashing.
“What happens now?” the Doctor asked loudly, the noise from the ambulance still wailing in their ears.
“Now it’s much more important to get you in this facility!” Lennox yelled.
They quickly reached the entrance to the labs, and Lennox scanned their security cards. Once they got inside, both men were thoroughly decontaminated and handed lab coats. After they got dressed, Lennox escorted the Doctor into the main labs.
“Are you guys a division of UNIT?” The Doctor asked Lennox, after entering a room full of bullets and casings, with scientific apparatus and technicians operating on them.
“Not my division, but some of the guards have been transferred from there. Part of this place is for their research, but we operate under a separate command structure.” Lennox stated. “This way, and be careful, this project has been known to be unstable.”
Another door whooshed open, and they entered a well lit room with a solitary clear cube in the center, occupied by a tall, mousy haired man who slowly rose from a crouching position, and walked to the front of his cube. The man was dressed in the standard prison orange jumpsuit and had very striking features; the most noticeable was his jet black eyes.
“I take it you’re a doctor.” The man behind the wall asked, keeping a measured distance away from the actual wall.
“No, I’m the Doctor.” The Doctor replied with a playful tone.
“Oh, how very nice. Nice and vain. I like that! I would say I’m not that important, but we both know that’s not quite true.” He said this with a clipped, educated voice. A technician flipped a switch, and the man’s voice was cut off.
Lennox approached the Doctor, explaining that this was part of his general behavior.
“Wait, part? What is he, Dr. Jekyll? Queried the Doctor. Captain Lennox gave him a blank stare, and the Doctor sighed in exasperation. “Okay, you have me here. What can I help you with?” he asked.
“Right now, watch him, assess him, something. Try and fix him. He was one of our top researchers before this happened, and we want to know what this is.” The captain kept pointing towards the cube while talking. Suddenly, the prisoner took a step forward and smashed his fist into the cube, mouth contorted into a scream. The lights dimmed, and the harsh crackle of lighting emanated from the cell. A flash of light temporarily blinded the Doctor, and as his vision came back, he saw the prisoner struggling to his feet from the middle of the cube.
“Strong security. Is it needed?”
A technician rushed forward, explaining that the brainwave patterns had stabilized, which caused a buzz of excitement to fill the air.
“Not anymore, c’mon!” the captain replied and answered, rushing forward to the entrance of the cell. “Doctor, I would appreciate if you could help us run tests, figure out what’s wrong and hot to fix him. Can you?”
The captain kept talking, but the Doctor was too distracted by the prisoner’s eyes, which were now a kaleidoscope of color.

Supernatural S01E01
Should I start crying now? or will it take a few seasons.
Nope, I need to start crying now.
So, my life is coming apart at the seams. It’s quite stupid too, over the same stuff thousands of teenagers suffer with: mental health issues that don’t get the proper treatment. And it’s not as if the treatment is that hard to get, most, if not all, hospitals have a psychiatric ward, and going to...
I Am Not One Of Them
John was running. Fast. The lactic acid had begun its rapid build up in his legs a few miles back, and was quickly reaching its limit. He turned his head around, and then a shattering pain, one that he'd found horrifically recognisable, shot through his knee. The world spun into darkness.
He woke up sweating and panting hard. He quickly reached down to his knee, making sure there was no bullet wound, and his fingers slowly traced the old scar tissue from when that biker knocked him over 4 years ago. He started breathing slower, slowing each breath he took down further, like he'd learned in the army so many years ago. A groan escaped his lips when he saw the time, a bright green 3:16 flashing against the wall. He sat up, cradling his head in his hands.
“Third time this week, John,” he whispered to himself. “Time to talk to him.”
Sparks flew from the console as the Doctor made an in-flight adjustment, something he knew his TARDIS hated. She bucked hard, but he was ready and rode her out. A few seconds later, she stabilized, and the Doctor double checked the coordinates.
“England again, and its 2014 no less. What’re we doing here again?” He asked the TARDIS, and she responded with the final resting sighs as she fully engaged her temporal time anchor. “If you say so. Only one thing to do then!” he shouted, and he quickly ran out the door.
Dean Winchester hung up the phone with a startled look, and then quickly turned to Sam.
“Gather your things, we’re going to Europe,” was all he said before running to his room.
The taxi finally pulled up at Saint Bart’s, and a shiver ran up John’s spine. He'd always hated this place after Sherlock’s jump - how could anyone expect differntly? - but felt compelled to talk with Molly first. He had followed Sherlock’s advice and fired his therapist when John realised he had been right all along, even giving her a second chance after Sherlock left. He'd still hated her.
Unfortunately, she was the only psychiatrist his military insurance would cover, so now he went to Molly. She became bitter with Sherlock gone, but she still helped John out, as long as it pertained to Sherlock. He had started worrying that she was getting more obsessed with the deceased man, but he stopped when he realized that was her coping mechanism. Everyone whose life Sherlock had ever touched needed one after that day.
He walked briskly into the morgue only to find Molly and Lestrade chatting over half of a cadaver. He waited for them to finish by the doorway, fighting the urge to join them, as he usually would. He was an emergency room doctor now, not a mortician, and certainly not a consulting detective!
Finally, Lestrade said his farewells to Molly and left, giving a brief greeting to John on his way out. Molly, noticing John standing there for the first time, quickly beckoned for him to join her at the table. He approached slowly, winding through the different tables to reach her. She gestured towards her side impatiently, and he hurried along, getting to Molly just as she grabbed the top of the sheet.
“No, Molly. I’m not here for that. I’m looking for information and some peace of mind.”
She let the sheet drop from her hands. Luckily, he’d already told her he wasn’t doing that anymore without Sherlock, but she still looked a little hurt.
“Where is he?” John asked of her, a little briskly. Shocked, she replied with a hasty 'I don’t know.' He hadn't expected any differently. “I don't know if you take me for a fool or an idiot, and I don't care, but please have the decency to not treat me like one. Where is he?” He asked more forcefully, taking a slight step forward.
Stammering, she attempted to create another lie, but John just cocked his eyebrow at her, and she twisted her lip before giving in.
“Baskerville. He’s at Baskerville now.”

Guns Don't Kill People
So, has anyone thought about the economic issues that would occur if we banned all guns?
as well, nobody gets all riled up when a person commits vehicular manslaughter. yet, both involve the misuse of a widely available tool, and motor vehicle accidents actually outpacing gun deaths, and accidents! Source here.
Now I believe many of you may feel I am just a gun toting lunatic, however, that is certainly not the case. Yes, I do have a medicated anxiety disorder, and yes, I do enjoy operating and using firearms, I am 16, under the legal age to own a gun in Virginia.
In addition, much like with suicide, removing the firearm does not remove the homicide. In the article above, Mr. Krafft admits that by removing guns, suicide does not stop, only gun related suicide. If we use logic, we can conclude that by removing guns, yes, gun related murders will decline. However, all other types of murder would experience a hike, because people will turn to other sorts of weapons, like bombs, knives, and blunt objects to kill or maim. As an EMT, I was taught that while guns do a lot of damage to a victim, bombs can do much more to a wider range of people.
So next time, when your panties are bunching up because of gun deaths, take the time to do five minutes of unbiased research, and realize that guns are actually not as bad as the liberal media portrays.
The Honorable President Barack H. Obama
I'm sorry, this is going to be an unpopular opinion, (especially considering I am but a white, cis gender male), but it must be stated.
Hawkeye/Rorshach.
“Hey, Hawkeye, I got something for you!”
I turn, looking for whoever is speaking to me. The casual way they used my stupid nickname makes me think it’s one of the underclassmen, not letting me live down that one time I wore those gaudy glasses for a project.
“Down here, asshat!”
I look down. Standing around my stomach is this weird redheaded kid, some new 6th grader at Phillip Coulson 6-12th grade school. Personally, integrating middle and high school was a stupid idea, especially when the middle school kids try to talk to the high school ones. Anyways, I decide to humor the bastard, not thinking anything would happen.
“It’s from my mom, bitch!”
I hear the scrape of metal on metal; see a flash of light in the kid’s hand. Damn! He’s got a shank! I jump backwards, out of the bastard’s reach, and feel the blade catch my shirt. It rips a small hole in the fabric, but misses my stomach.
The kid staggers off-balance, and I decide to end this now. I grab his overexposed wrist, letting inertia carry my arm with his hand into the lockers on the wall, slamming his closed fist against a lock. He barks out in pain, dropping the sharp piece of metal, which I quickly kick out of the way. He manages to yank his hand free, leaving a trail of blood from where the lock broke his skin.
He takes another swing at me, which I deflect into another lock. I hear a knuckle break. This kid means business. While he nurses his busted hand, I quickly grab his throat and slam him into a wall, bodily lifting him up off his feet. He kicks out, while turning blue, lashing out at my abdomen with his short legs. I butt my head forward and catch his chin, and two loud cracks echo down the hallway. He looks dazed, and I decide to make my exit.
As I drop the kid, however, he rips out another piece of metal, this time managing to score a slash along my arm. Growling in frustration now, I knee him in the stomach, and while he’s doubled over, kick him in the head and across the hall. He slams into another bank of lockers, stuff thudding to the ground from their precarious perches inside the metal door.
“Who the hell are you, kid?” I ask. There was no reason for him to attack; I didn’t even know the runt.
“My name is Walter, you cunt. Walter Kovacs. And you hurt my mom. You raped her bad. So, now I’m going to kill you.”
“My name’s Clint, not cunt. And I don’t even know your mom. Chill out man.”
He growls at me, and sits up, fury in his eyes. Not willing to deal with him anymore, I kick him again in his chest, and leave him against the wall for the janitor to clean up before class change. I had to get to archery class anyway.
I watch as Clint swaggers away, blood in my mouth. Maybe he really wasn’t my mom’s assailant. But he was right. I had to “chill out” and plan my attack better. And he seemed like the perfect collaborator. And he knew I was up to something. He’d have to be converted….or destroyed.
Journal entry on the events of December 14, 2012
After the events early this morning, 14 December, I felt the need to scrap my previous journal entry and focus on a problem that has affected this nation for so many years, almost since the indoctrination of the Constitution in 1791: Gun laws and control. I realize that this is not a proper journal, however, I am conducting research and checking several different news articles, as well as this tragic event having a global down to personal effect, I feel this is the only course of action I have left to take. I apologize it is after the midnight closure, I needed time to gather my thoughts.
Porch Lights
Love is like a porch light
It burns bright,
As long as the electricity
Of love runs it.
In a bit
And without a fit
The light will flicker out
And I’ll know without a doubt
That our love is finished
But my love for you will never diminish
Even when the light
That I feel might
Be the one to be with me through life
And the one that burnt the knife
I ran over my wrists
And because of this
I thank you.
Your porch light attracts fools
Much like the one you think I am
You feel like I don’t love you
But I’d be a fool not to
I’m sorry if my secrets and lies
Have made you angry
I was blind
And wish to end the anger
If I could I would
Shout about my love for you from the
Roof of the world
But my despair and apathy
Weigh me down
And prevent my summit.
Darling please
Leave your porch light on for as long as you love me
And I swear to you
I’ll never give you a reason
To kill the light
And plunge my world into night.
I wrote this one a long time ago, for an old love. Finally managed to get it on here.
Zombie Journal
Generator’s back up, thank God. John got free and started feasting during the storm last night. Two neighborhoods are on my condemned list, because the reports flooding in through the police scanner is disturbing. Reports of entire houses having been ransacked, no firearms discharge, but pure, raw, muscle tearing through the building, leaving mutilated corpses in its wake. The police believe its looters, but I know better by the description. “Bite marks along the outer extremities, and scratches all over the torso. We can’t identify the bodies, because none of them have heads, and someone used the blood to write a message on the wall. Dear God, what is this! ‘They’re alive’. What is this, Dispatch?”
That’s just one house. Thankfully, that’s in the neighborhood where I believe another hunter is operating in, due to the beheaded corpses, but John has been a busy boy during that downpour. Humans, and other living creatures, are slowed down by the rain and floodwaters, having to slosh through and maintain safety and the likes. This John guy, however, can blaze through without worrying about drowning, since he can’t. Also, he’s dead, and so are his fears, so they have no hesitation powering through contaminated water.
There’s no contact in the other neighborhood. A squad went in to the area to investigate and answer frantic calls, no one has called in yet. The police are more concerned about the rest of the population, and don’t have time to worry about this enigma. However, this does not bode well, because most of the calls were about rabid bears, odd enough in the Tidewater area. But, 14 people calling in rabid bears, and a few others calling in a crazy man? Yeah, John made it over there as well.
I have to ride out this storm before I can check and assess the damage John did in the other neighborhood, and hopefully I’ll be able to finally meet this other hunter. As always, watch yer necks and don’t answer the door unloaded.
Zombie Journal
Amazingly, I managed to get everything I needed for my kit, despite the massive flocking of people to get supplies after the flood. I haven’t been able to update because of the floods, since they knocked down power and communication lines. Still no shocking headlines of senseless brutal violence, so my friend John still hasn’t managed to attack anyone yet, but tonight will probably be the first strike, since there is so many people out for the first time in a while. It may even turn into a feeding frenzy. However, all my supplies are gathered. The food was surprisingly the easiest to get, seeing as how the flood has caused people to overcompensate and buy everything. I think there may be a few other zombie hunters in the vicinity or moving in. I’ll try and meet up with them, fighting in a pack is better against a single zombie anyway. But, I got my pistol rounds, my machete sharpened, and my truck and chainsaw all fueled up.
I even managed to get some more information on this John guy. Not much, except he lived on the other side of the town, which may cause problems of friends thinking he’s safe to approach. Also, there was better identification with these records than the spotty CCTV video crap we were getting on the news. He’s actually a rather tall man, 6’1, and smart as well. Graduated college with distinctions, and was going to law school soon. Still no information on the driver or where he does his experiments. I don’t even know what his intentions are, if he has any. Might just be a social experiment, a very fucked up one, throwing a zombie into a town. Well, the generator is starting to go, so I’d better post this and get some rest. Watch yer necks and get prepared. Storm’s coming.
Zombie Journal
Last night wasn’t so bad. John, the miraculous patient who disappeared from the morgue wasn’t able to feast last night, since everyone was scared shitless to go outside, afraid they’d get snatched. There was a severe ruckus when the mortician couldn’t find John, but the police managed to keep the press away from this pitfall. However, they did report a break-in at his old house, and his wife was missing. Poor bastard probably ran for the hills when he came crashing in through the window. Nothing was stolen, so the authorities aren’t too worried about it, and since she’s gone, there’s no one to make a hoot about it. Unfortunately, John didn’t leave a trail, so I don’t know where he has gotten off to. I’ll leave the idiotic man hunt to the police. I need to go gather my supplies and prepare my machete for when the time comes. Watch yer necks.
