The greenhouse in the botanical gardens is a favourite spot of ours; natural light and endless plants are a photographer’s dream.
Gemma & Jonah // engagement
This was one of the most fun shoots I’ve ever done, it was just magical from start to finish. We started out with coffee in a cosy pub (complete with a fire) before heading out into the snow and walking through the woods into the peaks. The only thing that was missing was some proper snowfall - but right at the end when we were heading back, there it was! It was so great to hang out with these two, and I’m already excited for their wedding next year!

Sophie & Rob // wedding
It was an absolute honour to be photographing the wedding of a friend I’ve known for over fifteen years, who loved and supported me through the worst of times. One beautiful location, endless elegant little touches and two childhood sweethearts... a truly wonderful day to celebrate love.
Pieces of Autumn
Anna & Tim // engagement
This has got to be one of my favourite shoots I’ve done. Always been a big fan of these two anyway, and getting to do my housemate’s engagement photos in one of the best spots in Sheffield at golden hour was just awesome.
Upshot Espresso
Some photos I took of an independent coffee shop I worked at for Cup North magazine. Normally I’d be behind the counter making coffee (though nowhere near the level Joey and Sam were at), so it was fun getting to capture the atmosphere of the place from a different perspective. Upshot will always be one of my favourite places to call home in Sheffield.

A trip to Newcastle I took a while ago to visit one of my oldest friends, in which we climbed to the top of the cathedral, had a windy picnic on the beach and explored the delights of Seven Stories.
Ellie & Phil // wedding
Some sweet moments from Ellie and Phil’s lovely September wedding. It was full of all the laughter, joy and fun that they exude as a couple and they were just a dream to work with. Also quite proud that I managed not to fall over while taking photos on the bus!
Ele & Marnie
Another stunning autumnal afternoon. We set out with our cameras and a picnic lunch, and wandered round the woods taking photos and laughing an awful lot. It was so great spending the day with two of the most uplifting people I know, and hopefully many more photo adventures will follow.
Jess & Joe // wedding
Gemma and I had a blast photographing their day, which was full of so many great details (Jess wore her mother’s wedding dress, and just got it altered to fit her!) and everyone was completely relaxed and at ease throughout the whole thing. That made a huge difference, and it made for a really great day for all of us.

Summer fields
Chester & Lucy-Rose // engagement
This shoot actually took place on New Years’ Day, in my home town where I became friends with Lucy-Rose. These guys are always a joy to hang out with, and I love the fact that we didn’t have to do anything fancy or complicated to capture their fun and loving nature. It was absolutely freezing, but we had too much of a good time to care.
Krista
We only met for the first time that day for this shoot, but we shared some of the best conversations I’ve had. It was a gorgeous hazy summer day, which was perfect for the dreamy atmosphere we wanted to create in the photos. I had so much fun doing this shoot, even if we did get covered in white tufts from all the plants!
Sarah & David // wedding
I loved the small, intimate feel of this wedding - it was near where I grew up and the whole atmosphere felt true to home; simple, cosy and full of laughter. It was a lovely day to be a part of.
