I've been working on a (crack-filled, it is so fucking crack taken seriously oml) fanfic/AU and REALLY REALLY FUCKING like what your headcanon for White Lily is (and just the Faeries in general) so is it like, okay to pull a little of that? Just so you all know Mercurial Knight was the last child Silent Salt and Elder Faerie had before the sealing. It’s canon I tell no lies.

The kicker? Silent Salt isn’t even sure if the baby he once held is even alive anymore. It’s been thousands of years, and even though Faeries have an almost endless lifespan, there are only a handful of them left. How likely would it be that the little grub he last saw before his sealing is one of the few that survived all this time? On the other half, Mercurial Knight’s knighting wiped all memory of who they once were, meaning that even IF they could remember that far back into early childhood, there’s little to no chance they can actually remember their own father. All they have is little pieces that barely fit together. All they have is the tender embrace of cold steel.

Introducing: The King of treating other people with more care than he does himself, Pure Vanilla!!

This will hopefully be part 1 in a five part series for the ancients, going into depth about their pasts and different attributes they’ve gained over the years, had to start with the og of course :3!! I also have this: A timeline of him through the years and all of his current costumes (both with little facts added in)!

I had a lot of fun giving them new lore and interesting tidbits about themself, along with showing his experiences through his outfits/body! I can’t wait to do the others :D
