@julesm: i picked up into thin air, and i can't put it down. re-reading it was such a terrible idea, i'm in too deep
texts → romeo
Romeo: yo damn what if i have??? u never know
Juliet: Well then, let me know; have you?
texts → romeo
Romeo: haha i figured
Juliet: Good; after all, I doubt that you've read them.
Juliet [unsent]: And even if you have, you're not the one I'd come to for book advice.
texts → bridge
Bridget: I'm curious. I also love reading, so I'll read whatever I can get my hands on; as for Crime & Punishment, I'll re-read it. Maybe I'll get more out of it this time.
Juliet: In that case, if you want to borrow The Stranger, I'd have no problems. Great.
texts → romeo
Romeo: idk whatever u want lol
Juliet: My bad, didn't mean to text you.
texts → jen
Jen: They're two angsty teenagers with nothing better to do but to recite poetry to one another and make rash decisions. I honestly just. Ugh.
Juliet: Exactly, plus there are so many wholes in how they fell in love. I don't know, it might just be my personal experience talking, but people need to understand this, and get over it. It was a tragedy for a reason, wasn't meant to be.
texts → jen
Jen: truuuu. Plus R&J was a stupid play anyways. Juliet was like 13
Juliet: They weren't meant to end up together; I don't understand why everyone 'ships' them, or whatever.
texts → jen
Jen: Well??
Juliet: No, you know how that went. You're just the Jen to my Jules.
texts → jen
Jen: Aw, baby, the love of my life
Juliet: Oh my god.
texts → bridge
Bridget: i mean, he wasn't terrible, & he was pretty passionate about it, i just got distracted easily & bored v quickly
Bridget: i'll have to read it then
Juliet: Oh, I see.
Juliet: If you're curious, and only if you want to. After all, I'm not entirely sure you'll like it, as good as it is, our tastes seem to differ, since you already don't like 2/3 of the books at hand.
texts → jen
Jen: how do you???? not like crime and punishment??? thats a crime and it deserves punishment
Juliet: I don't know; they just have really bad taste, and no tolerance for actual masterpieces. That's why you're my favourite.
texts → jen
Jen: Crime and Punishment is so good fight me
Juliet: It really is. Also, you're the one I'm going to go to when I want to talk about it; almost no one that I know likes it.
texts → bridge
Bridget: ugh, tsar and c&p were the name of my ap lit existence; never read the stranger, though
Bridget: i'm inclined to say that one just because i hated the others so much
Juliet: Was the teacher that taught them terrible? That's one of the main reasons why I read books on my own, because I've had teachers screw up novels due to their lack of passion and interest- and I refuse to let that happen to me ever again.
Juliet: I must say that even with your lack of knowledge on The Stranger, it's a good call; it's very interesting.
texts → open/wrong number
Juliet: I have been trying to decide what to re-read for about ten minutes now, and I'm still at a loss. So, The Sun Also Rises, Crime & Punishment, or The Stranger?
———- Sure, you can have my fries. I guess.
You’re such a sweetheart; thank you. Sorry for asking, but I really don’t want to be here any longer than I have to -------- I’ll make it up to you, though, promise.
