this post gets a handful of notes every few weeks, and on the one hand, I’m happy that it seems to be helping people, but on the other hand i think it’s terrible that so much has gone wrong recently. 

I made this post in response to the Paris attacks, and since then, about every 3 weeks or so, it gets a slew of new reblogs. The world is such a shitty place. At least we have puppies and kittens to make it a little better.
