Is...anyone else having trouble posting comments or is it just me? Full on rant below the cut ↓↓

I don't know what it is specifically, too.

I've joined numerous communities during my free time to—hopefully—communicate with other artists. As I've posted again and again, I LOVE OC's and geeking out about them. I have around 25 posts of them on my blog currently, and EVEN MORE in older websites. But the difference between them and established characters is that you have to work to get your characters noticed, and hell...even recognized.

I found out that I apparently can't post comments? Unlike my other account? That I treat almost the same as this one? Albeit yes, I do interact more there, I haven't posted anything worthy of getting flagged. At least, I haven't received any notifications like so.

Additionally, I don't appear in any search results, no matter how specific I get from my blog-specialty tags to my literal fvcking name. I genuinely don't understand. Some spaces say it's due to general lack of activity, thinking that maybe Tumblr sees me as a bot. I've sent TWO requests by now, recently the last one, but I'm still so tired of waiting and feeling like I've been locked away, making my discoverability SO MUCH LOWER than IT ALREADY IS

Genuinely, what am I to expect? Just...fade away in the background? Why? What have I done, and more importantly, why is no one telling me about it ???

I've got like...the craziest story ever. Regarding my "restriction" here on Tumblr.

So it turns out, one of my posts DID get flagged, and instead of appealing like a normal person, I immediately deleted the entire post. This is bad, why? Because now I have to rely on Tumblr staff themselves to unrestrict me. The thing with that, is that with all due respect, Tumblr doesn't give a single flying shit about some random's account. What's flagged is flagged, unfortunately.

Now, I have reached out to them, several times via their help website. I have also waited, for weeks by now. Not once did I get a single response, and I frankly cannot wait any longer. NONE of my posts are visible using the search function. My blog isn't even discoverable that way, either. I want to make it so that before I participate in this year's artfight, or even rarer, post fanart, I have to be found where people search most. Because how else am I gonna find other people?

Long story short, might DELETE this account and replace it. Using my alt caramel-inhell, hopefully I won't run into this problem anymore. I'll update more when I can, but if you'd like to keep in touch in the near future, please visit me in that blog ^^ I'd love to see you there

Which feature of your OC is the most fun to draw??

I LOVE drawing pircing, tatoo and scars, although I often forget about some of the scars from my OC Max

What is the detail of your oc that you are obsessed with, but do not think people notice? I have a problem with palettes, pairs must have complementary colors

Definitely the teeth "abnormalities". I've characters with fangs, gaps, and even shark teeth, but adding them to the character makes them feel so much more like them that I can't possibly forget adding these quirks. I feel it gives so much personality, even though sometimes you can only see them when a character smiles, exposing their teeth....or when they get genuinely pissed that you can see their anger through the tough clench of their mouth.

Likewise, I also love drawing tattoos, and characters with tattos!! Albeit I'm never consistent, lol. I also forget scars very often.

I really hope this shows up as a GIF in my platforms LMAO Meet Basil, the eldest of their siblings, the leading gardener/florist, master of all flora (and a little bit of fauna), and wife of my mascot oc 🥰🥰🥰 There are SO many things I want to say about them it's unmatched!!

First of all, eldest sibling trope, ahhh how I love you so. This lil guy did NOT wanna grow up to be one of the most caring, mature person and yet somehow, here they are !!! ... Second of all, ooo plant symbolism oooo. Ironic, because they never wanted to associate themselves with plants either. Third of all, get yourself an OC who is both inexplicably kind but also NOT to be messed with. Like genuinely. I love the kind person with sharp teeth dichotomy of this character so much ehahehahgagahaha

Helloo! So I;ve been artblocked recently. I think I overworked myself yesterday. Not only that but I also apparently got HACKED somewhere I hardly even use,, I have so many conflicting feelings about it, mainly that I don't even know what got me hacked. It's depressing because it got my old friends back on just for them to see me like a puppet hung on someone else's string. Everyone saw it, by the way. Great. So great. So fine. I guess it was just in the scammer's nature to humiliate me in front of all new and old acquaintances alike. It's strange because I've been doing nothing but drawing my as$ off yesterday. I've clicked on no shitty links, and I've downloaded no stupid files. And yet I still feel horrible that my skill isn't matching up to the time I spent. Which is about my entire life at this point. Anyway I'm taking a break. At least a break that I announced properly this time. No posts, but feel free to talk to me or whatever.

MY BABIES!! Ah, I love Caramel x Aloe and their human!AU counterpart, Lucifer x Basil specifically. Goooddd i am so normal about them (they are my shitpost oc's) they have soooo much chemistry (this is my only post of them). I love them soo mcuh like they're like opposites attract caus red and green but also fancy "evil " mofo with a soft side x the one that brings the soft side out fo him. So i tried to study painting (as in textured brush strokes) to experiment what kind of painterly style I wanted to have,, and well, this is what I ended up with I would love to tell more but she's just a random character i made on the spot. she doesnt have any lore, nor will she come back later in other stuff,,, so r.i.p. lol Reference from Pinterest. Meet my protagonist!!! Yeayyy!! She totally hasn't appeared anywhere else, this is her first design! What. What do you mean this is her hundredth? What I think finally, after a hundred years, I'm happy with how her personality came out. She's like those disney protagonists, except slightly (definitely) more malicious (as in morally grey), and I love that for her. She's the same person who dyed her hair a hot pink by the way, that just happens later on in the story.  Cel shading practice Canonically she isn't as charming as her personality implies
