a little thing while I was drawing this, I was listening to Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On album because I think it fits the whole “peace and love” theme that Gardenview and it’s TVshow tried to emphasize. Plus, it’s just a really nice album.

see this is also why I rly love the idea of stratifying toon ages with a little more detail (more age ranges) bc Notiker and Medha's ages are very important to how they act and what they experience — because much of what their arcs revolve around (and how they were made, as "professional adults who have got their lives sorted out") is the feeling that it is too late for them to change, that their age precludes them from shifting their life path to something they would prefer more, but that the young and those that love them can remind them it's never too late. So smth like decora is perfect for that because the playful, cute, colorful and chaotic aesthetic of just covering yourself in as many accessories and stickers as humanly possible, a movement started by the youth in the late 1990s and therefore likely during Medha's (and Gardenview's) lifetime, is just the kind of thing she would love to be guided by younger toons into participating in to make her happy
