Love is like a vase full of flowers. You have to make sure every flower is watered, but not too much; It can drown. For a while you’ll be proud of your work and appreciate them… But eventually the flowers can begin to wilt. You can try to revive them but it won’t always work. They’ll die and you’ll be confused as to what finally did it. But don’t sit and watch them rot, make sure to throw them out.
You can still enjoy the memory of what they looked like before they died (via kenzielikestowrite)
People don’t miss the drugs. You won’t hear someone say, “Man, I really miss heroine.” You hear people talk about how it made them feel, and that’s what they miss. it’s the same way with people I think. You don’t always miss the person, you just miss the way they made you feel.
