Someone said dream bendy and hallucination cuphead should be a new ship... the intention was for me to explore that interesting dynamic but I ended up putting them in mortal combat instead (CW: GORE)

ALRIGHT SO How bout now? - LuLuYam THIS. I used the lyrics from this song in the drawings because HOLY SHIT like 99% of them fit bendystraw perfectly. I love the ambiguous and almost violent way love is described and how, despite this, romantic it is. I mostly see this as Cuphead's perspective and how he genuinely wants to get to know Bendy on a deeper level than forced-allies, to his dismay. The lyrics i wrote down are peak, but if you're interested, PLEASE LISTEN TO THE WHOLE SONG, i probably didnt explain it well enough here. AMALGAMATION - LuLuYam Not rlly bendystraw-focused but still a good Cuphead song Your Best American Girl - Mitski Could be both from Cup and Bendy's perspective. Both of them are prohibited in some way (bounty hunter reputation and incurable disease) from having a peaceful life and could look at each other with a sort of longing and feeling like they're not ever going to be able to be by each other's side. Plus the scenario in which Bendy dies before being able to live alongside Cuphead fully or the scenario in which Cuphead cannot give up the mindset his job enforced upon him and he keeps on running from place to place. Real happy stuff.

Apologies for my inactivity lately, I can't believe two whole updates came out and I did nothing :') I'm kind of floored by my studies at the moment, but I finally got the time to post these sketches Featuring the accursed "draw your favorite character with your problem" trend and my ocs as Cup and Bends :3

As an avid fan of BendyStraw, I need to ask, what are your personal headcanons of these guys dynamic as a couple?

Who cooks, who is richer? Who gets extra protective? Just some curious brainrot.

Sorry for taking so long to respond! I've been super busy, but not busy enough to not ramble about the goobs... Bendy and Cup reminded me of these two ocs I've had for six years and was instantly hooked to myth when I first saw it. Subsequently, all of my drawings of bendystraw are half-myth, half-oc inspired (and a little side of me and my gf's relationship <3). For starters, Cuphead is obviously parallel with anything romantic, and he's not really a sensitive, emotional person. He probably would not know he liked Bendy up until the very last moments, maybe even while Bendy would be confessing his own feelings. On that note, Bendy is more connected with his feelings and he can express them, but again not on a therapist-approved level They wouldn't have like a well-defined start of a relationship, more like a smooch and a level of intimacy that surpasses friendship. It would go something like this:

After they'd "get in a relationship" or whatever they think happens, Cuphead would def become protective of Bends. Also he'd follow him virtually everywhere he goes Bendy is definitely the cook, while Cuphead takes over most other chores:

In terms of love languages, Cuphead would be big on acts of service, and Bendy would appreciate quality time the most. They are not a PDA couple at all And many, many more couple-y shenanigans:
