Hello! My name is Riley, or as most people know me, Cardinal! I really like planes, especially those from WW2, and coffee and tea are the only things keeping me alive. I enjoy Pokemon a lot, specifically Submas, so be prepared to see a lot of it; I also love the Professor Layton series, with my favorite game being Professor Layton and the Unwound Future I have a Carrd and a Kofi now as well!

Fun Facts:

I like Cardinals (you would've never guessed). I love many birds, but Cardinals are my favorite; the cardinal on this blog is named Rose.

I commonly wear sunglasses because I have light sensitivity, which is why you see many icons or drawings of my character with them on.

Happy Holidays everyone!! This year has been rough for me, but things are changing and getting better!

Lots of new things are happening, and I’m both excited and a little scared, but I think it’ll be an amazing next year.

Okay, this is a bit of a rant post regarding hate comments, I will put it under the read more. It's not as filtered as I'd like at the moment, as my brain is still fried from the previous semester, but it needs to be said.

Stop sending me hate or just unkind comments. I am not in the business of amusing or entertaining unkind comments, and it's just as much of a waste of time for you as it is for me. I will not make another post about this.

I keep this blog to post silly doodles I make or just things I find interesting in the moment. I do not want to engage in hate or witch-hunting; it's not my style and never will be. It's incredibly disappointing to me that you feel the need to either accuse me of a list of things that don't pertain to this blog or me in general, or to send hateful comments to my inbox, thinking that it'll get a rise out of me.

There are better things to do with your time than whine in my inbox, and perhaps a trip outside to touch grass is in order. It takes next to nothing to be kind; hell, it takes next to nothing to be a decent human being. Respecting others helps build a more positive community for everyone, so please consider how your words affect others and choose kindness instead.

If you feel the urge to leave unkind comments or send unkind asks, please understand this is not the place for that, and I kindly ask you to respect this boundary and leave.

Some Ace Attorney doodles!! I love these silly characters, and the ridiculousness always brightens my day.

Here's an extra little guy I made, available under the cut. He's based loosely on @raisans-art's AU, where Miles is a bat!

This little guy was super fun to make! I don't recommend trying to complete it on a plane, as I did; it was a bit of a mess, T_T.

What flowers do you associate with your favorite Professor Layton characters?

Hello, hello! Thank you for the question. I really enjoyed flipping through my book once again and taking notes, as it has been a long time! I only worked on Professor Layton for this doodle, but I do have notes written out for a few of the other characters if there's interest. I could also go into more detail about the choice of flowers in a separate post, but for the sake of brevity, I'll present just the doodle here.

I was going through all the notes I took of each Professor Layton game and remembered this plot point from the second game.
