!!! ABOUT LATE CARDS !!!

Your late cards will be taken if they arrive a handful of days after the final day. If after those five days they get to us, then they will be given the next time we send cards out to hospitals. Thank you for all your support! Keep sending them in!

As of last week, cards have begun coming in! Thank you so much to everyone who's sent them in so far. ❤️

What is to be included in the card? How do you want them to be decorated?

Uplifting messages for those who are struggling is all we ask! The decorating is up to you! There are no specifics, just be creative and have fun!

Cards To Inspire Card Drive

Cards To Inspire is doing a card drive for encouraging cards for adolescents who are residents in mental health treatment facilities. The cards will be presented to the adolescents in May in honor of May being mental health month.

You’re welcome to contribute!

Some card guidelines:

• You can use any greeting cards, including blank ones you decorate yourself.

• The cards will be given to adolescents, so of course keep them teenager friendly, as well as unisex.

• You can include info about yourself, inspiring messages or quotes, and anything else.

• You can decorate the cards as much as you’d like, and make as many cards as you’d like.

• You’re welcome to send out multiple packages of cards. If you’re sending multiple cards, you don’t have to put them in separate envelopes, you can just put them all in a package and send them together.

• Please send all cards by April 25th, so I know how many cards we’re getting.

Please message me any questions. This post will be updated with more info if I forgot anything.

Oh, i have always wanted to do something like this. I will definitely participate. ^_^

Im hoping this winter to start a donation of things for a psych hospital near by ive been through since my first admit at 11 years old, and hopefully give every patient there child and adult a gift to open on Christmas.

Hey! Thank you for asking, but right now I think we've got it covered. I have lots of help from my boyfriend - shoutout to Rian - although you can certainly help by sending in cards and spreading the word! If we need more help in the future, we'll make a post and let people know. Thanks for asking!

Can the cards relate to religion at all?

Try to steer clear of any sort of religion, as we do know what religion, if any, the recipients will be. The occasional ‘God bless you,’ and any other sort of small spiritual correspondence is acceptable, though as we do not know their exact beliefs we’d like to keep the cards religion free. Thank you!

Hello! I was wondering if we will know more about the people who will receive cards. Like are they all teens from Mental health facility, all diagnosis included, or is it specifically for people affected by the spectrum of depression? Thank you!!

All diagnoses are included! Not just people with depression. :)

As someone who spent 6 months in a residential mental health facility at age 11, receiving a card like this would have made me so happy. I'm 22 now, and most of my mental health issues are under control. I'm hoping I'll be able to send a card or two for this project, because I think it's amazing. Thank you for doing what you're doing.

I wish I could send some cards, but I live in Brazil and it would be a little complicated to send them to you, there's any way I can send like a submission or something, and someone put it on the cards?

When we send the cards does our mailing address have to be on the envelope or is just your address work?

I have a quick question so like along with the card can we send a letter possibly? Like if it can't all fit in a card?

Can we send the cards naked (no envelope) or should they be in their own envelopes? Naturally there will be an outer envelope/package for them to get to you, which is not what I am asking about.

No, there’s no need to have them in their own envelopes. We’ll have to read through them before they’re sent out anyway!
