welcome to the caregiving chrysalises

i’m the (your) genderfluid butterfly caregiver prinx whose created this blog with the hopes of spreading my wings as a caregiver throughout the interweb

i’m genderfluid- so caregiving titles may vary but you can always refer to me by my name atala, or the terms buba, bibi, baba or papa!

i am a prinx of many passions- so i tend to fly about as any good butterfly should, but while we’re here these are some things to keep in mind

this blog is SFW only and is in no way and will never be associated with any nsfw connotations or relations of age regression and caregiving- nsfw interactions of any kind on my work will be blocked!

this blog is meant to be as safe a space for me as it is for all who interact with it so please remember that while i may be a charming prinx i am also a person- so please be respectful

this blog is meant to be an outlet for the drabbles and thoughts i feel aren’t represented enough in the agere space from a caregiving perspective- if you’d like to see fictional caregiving drabbles and thoughts please also consider flying towards @mydearestdrabbles

this blog will be mainly reassurance and comfort- and flies towards babyre/ younger regressors- most of the content will be written and specified as genderless unless otherwise noted

as a genderfluid caregiver i’ll do my best to indicate my fluidity in my writing and to give voice as to whether the comfort/ reassurance is coming from a specific gender pov!

asks are welcomed and can be as simple as saying hi and getting a welcoming response to as detailed as situation specific reassurance- i will not address asks which are graphic or non-kid appropriate though if you have doubts you’re welcome to still ask and i’ll do my best to get back to you!

it’s okay to keep learning, little leaf~ you don’t have to know everything, my star. papa doesn’t expect you to have it all figured out, sweetness. it’s okay to change your mind, and flutter through lots of feelings throughout your day, it’s okay, angel. you’re allowed to say when something scares you, or feels too big to understand. papa’s here to learn with you, you can always hold zer hand (or wing) as you flutter through new things. papa isn’t here to judge you, or make you feel ashamed, it’s a very brave thing to keep trying, little star~ papa won’t flutter away if you make mistakes. the chrysalis will always be here, and papa will always keep you safe. zer so proud of you for trying, and being so, very brave.

tantrum & big feeling comfort

oh sweetheart, oh sweet love~ i know, i know, my baby’s having some really big feelings right now aren’t they~ it’s okay, it’s okay to have big feelings honey.

papa’s baby, my sweet little love, you can let it all out with papa, lovebug.

you can kick your legs and squirm in your blankets, angel. you can whine and cry about all the icky feelings you’ve been holding in your heart, my baby. you’ve been so brave for so long, haven’t you, my little bug~

i know, papa knows how brave you’ve been, little leaf! ze’ve seen how good you’ve been, how dedicated and caring you are with the big icky world getting in the way of being small. it’s okay to be upset, my love.

papa knows how it feels to be too busy to take care of yourself, starling. regressing with a tantrum is precious and okay, sweetheart~ papa’s not upset with you, my little love.

you’re being so good, letting go and feeling your feelings with papa~ papa’s brave little baby is safe here in papa’s arms.

mama ‘tala was working late in the palace when all of a sudden ze saw fireworks outside of zer window,, and were reminded of the many magical moments that surround zem! the world is full of so much hope, and so much joy, dewdrop~ and sometimes, dearest star, that joy is hiding in plain sight!! you are magical, sweetheart, and being small is a precious fluttering that mama ‘tala feels is quite magical, too, angel! tonight the chrysalis and i are wishing you many magical moments and moonlit memories, little dove,, may the evening stars smile down on us kindly!

having big feelings doesn’t make you bad, darling. you’re not any less precious for having a big heart, sweetness! your feelings,, big and small are never, ever weaknesses, dewdrop. all of the precious things you hold in your heart,, your dreams, fears and the precious flutterings in-between are all special parts of you that ‘tala will always cherish. having empathy,, and big feelings about this breathtaking, beautiful world around us isn’t a flaw, nor a weakness, darling m~ but a strength, and something that makes you, my precious star, shine even brighter in tonight’s sky. my darling little moon, ‘tala is so, so proud of every precious part of you. it is my honor to care for you, and to hold dear the magic of your heart!

for the darlings who involuntarily regress and feel their hearts are stuck fluttering between headspace’s, papa ‘tala is here to tell you it’s okay! it’s okay if regressing right now doesn’t feel productive~ it doesn’t have to be, honey. regressing isn’t going to flutter to every little star the same way,, and that is perfectly okay! regressing without meaning doesn’t make you bad, love… needing care, love and support doesn’t make you bad,, and most certainly isn’t a reason you would be in trouble, angel. you’re allowed to take a break from being big, you’ll flutter back to your big headspace when your heart needs to, baby… but for right now, can you follow ‘tala’s breathing, sweetness? deep breaths in and then out,, just like that my little dove. papa’s here with you, sweetheart. i’ll take care of you, and see that you flutter through headspace with love, kindness and care! you’re safe in the chrysalis dewdrop~ you’re safe with me!!

it’s the first day of summer, sunshine~ and your papa spent zer day fluttering around the chrysalis taking in the sunshine and magical moments throughout zer day! this summer season will be a hot one, and papa knows the summer buzz can make it hard to focus on staying hydrated, little dove~ but big or small, dewdrop, you deserve to listen to your body and all of the many ways it shows you what it needs! the chrysalis has lots of cold water and ice packs to stay cool~ and papa’s wings will always be here to provide a summer breeze when you need it lovebug! papa’s so very excited to enter this new season with you, angel,, and the chrysalis and i can’t wait for all the magical memories the season before us beholds!!
