ive been thinking of wbff lebanon syria & france alot but i dontknow where else to dump my thoughts so ill say it here. tw for uh. emotional incest france's like that

i wonder if lebanon still misses the feeling of being loved, of feeling wanted for once in her sorry life. how nice it would be, even just for a little bit, to have that back again. he doesnt care about her anymore. or, hell—doesnt love her any longer. maybe he never did but she really doesnt want to admit that, maybe he once had but not anymore. nothing will change that fact anyway; whether he cared for her or didnt. nothing will bring her baba back home either way so all her feelings matter little in comparison to that emptiness where shes been hollowed out completely now, left wanting just one more hug from him. from both of them. she wants her sister to tell her that everything would be alright too.

but syria cant tell her these things. she doesnt remember any of it herself anyway because she never really knew him—never saw his affection, his 'love'—how can you miss what youve never experienced? she hates him. hates him so much and it eats at her sometimes and makes her feel sick because why did he do that? to her, why? to them, what gives him that right? to treat her this way? why didnt she do more? lebanon understands this anger, she feels it herself too after all—though less vividly so, but still present regardless—how dare he? why does everyone have to hurt them like this?

but she always thinks of why he had to abandon her, about herself only. because surely her loss is greater than anyone elses—surely its impossible to feel more pain than hers, surely no one else could possibly be suffering as deeply as she is, and how can she allow herself to even consider allowing others to share in her despair? syria does not consider this same self pity, however.
