Tips for caregivers
Every caregiver has their own opinion on how to be the best and I'm not here to argue, but I want to pass along a few tips I have learned. Sometimes your smol doesn't NEED you to be the best caregiver in the world, they need you to be best caregiver for them. That means you have to be both rigid and flexible. You should give them plenty of structure but you also have to know when they need free time, most of the time they are not able to communicate exactly what they need which is why it is our responsibility to pay attention to the seemingly minor details, such as the tone of their voices, something as simple as the speed and volume of they're words can speak volumes about the kind of day they are having. You should be able to adjust on the fly in order to be the caregiver they need as opposed to the caregiver you want to be That's just my 2 cents, I hope you find it helpful
