“I’m not much of a people person though. I prefer the solidarity of books.”
“Now see, I think that all could change if you just went there and worked on it.”
“I’d rather be at home with a good book.” Lily shrugged. “I’d rather read.”
“You can always read books, parties aren’t that abundant.”
“I could really go for a drink but dad keeps all the good liquor locked up.”
“There’s a reason why he keeps it locked up. Are you aware that the legal drinking age is 21?”
“Oh I’m not really the party type. I was just curious.”
“What? I don’t mean to sound patronizing but what’s wrong with parties? If you don’t go for the free booze and socializing, at least go for the embarrassing drunk people.”
“I heard there was a party tonight. Is it true?”
“I know I’m not hosting one. You should probably ask someone... younger. This seems like a high school party kinda thing.”
That One Bar Ft. Bourbon and Dancing
Hope leaned back, one hand resting carefully on the bar counter, the other wrapped around a cold glass of bourbon. Her gaze lazily travelled over the bar occupants, tongue darting out to wet her lips as she relaxed a little. Of course, she never fully let down her guard, but it was nice to drink and let loose for a short time every once in a while.
Lifting the drink to her lips, she raised a brow, watching the sweaty bodies pressing and grinding against one another, the people just letting go of all their inhibitions. She sometimes wanted to do that, but she was still careful when she went out, in case anybody tried to take advantage of her. However, she did always enjoy finding somebody to talk to and drink with, maybe flirt a little, before the night end
Carice didn’t survive even one day in town without hitting the bar. She had to admit her time in Los Angeles had taught her to be more irresponsible. Alcohol, dancing, all that was a good way to get lost in the moment. What she really liked about New Orleans was that there was always a friendly face when you went about.
She hopped on a bar stool next to the princess and leaned to the counter. “Why are you sitting here all alone?” she asked innocently. “It’s not a good look, the dance floor is right there and there’s a spot for two gorgeous women.”
“So tell me who died and came back to life while I was gone?”
** intro post !!
this is carice, bonnie and enzo’s daughter, 23, witch / untriggered vampire
let’s start with one defining trait: she absolutely hates the fact that vampire are able to have children. yes, she’s a vampire’s daughter and that’s one huge problem to her. to her it seems unnatural, well, the whole vampire business is against nature’s harmony and she’s always just shaking her head and going ‘ nope, nope, nope ‘ so you can imagine how revolting she finds vampire children.
and yeah her secret is that she’s deadly afraid of triggering her vampirism cause let’s get serious, she wouldn’t be able to live without her magic and connection to nature.
she’s outspoken and when it really comes to it, kind. but she isn’t exactly compassionate. she’s loyal to those who are loyal to her and even if you let her down, she’ll be your knight in shining armor regardless how much you hurt her. but she is proud. awfully proud and arrogant especially when it comes to magic. she’s a bennett witch after all and they are not to be fucked with.
