Placing down the bubble bottle on the rim of the tub, Carina turned on the water so the bath could fill. She was alone... it seemed like that would be a continuous thing from now on, every first sixth months of the year...and, quite frankly, she was wallowing. But she pulled herself out of it and now just wanted to take a bath to mellow out. She had been texting somebody. Somebody who made her heart feel a little bit better. Who made her smile. "God dammit." She whispered to herself before looking up to say sorry then walking over to the sink to grab her phone to call a friend. Looking at herself in the mirror she saw someone who was gorgeous, had a great paying job, a house, was well taken care of healthwise, but who was also very lonely, and heartbroken, and very set in her ways, aswell as pent up it seemed... Voicemail! Pinching the bridge of her nose, Carina chuckled waiting for the beep. "Hey! So you're probably busy...or...you know...sleeping." She took a moment to look at the clock on her phone and, indeed, it was very late, before placing it back to her ear, "Just wanted to say yesterday was a good day. I mean except for that who derbacle with that lady behind us, I don't have the faintest clue what her problem was...anyways I kind of... maybe... sort of... might be falling for this guy I have been speaking and texting with." That sounded dumb but it was the truth. "Third time's the charm, maybe?" She chuckled again. "It will be morning by the time you get this and I may have been drinking a little more tonight than I should of so you can probably disregard this but yeah." She paused. "Thank you for being a good friend. I mean it. Okay, see you next when Olivia is out on the field. Adios." Hanging up, she leaned back against the sink lost in thoughts before going about the rest of the night. @nat-andrews
