it’s not even that tinfoil tbh lol like i’ve seen several people point to the “lando is very affectionate when he’s tipsy/drunk so if you put him and carlos together muscle memory is going to lock tf in” theory over the years, and it makes a lot of reasonable sense if you believe even slightly in the existence of non-platonic carlando-ing at some point in time (even more so when you remember that as much as the fandom uses the “do they know it’s legal/2025??” jokes it’s… often not fully legal where they’re at 😭)
