Drivers who have spent years in midfield teams, working hard and giving it everything to score points or pull off impossible podiums, have all my admiration. That's why, when a driver who has had a good car from the very beginning, even if at times it hasn't been good enough to win, talks like that about backmarkers, it tells me much more about his personality and the way he thinks than anything else. I was genuinely neutral about Oscar until now, but that elitist way of talking about other teams, as if they don't have the right to fight for position just because they're not in top teams, has honestly disgusted me.

there’s something so crazy about how the only one who makes Oscar completely lose it and have no filter whatsoever is Carlos, like this is so compelling to me in a very non-ship way because this is a guy who never expresses any sort of emotion and is always so calm on the radio and then whenever Carlos is in his vicinity on track he transforms into a whole other person who curses and screams and I haven’t seen him react like this with anyone else ever and it’s very funny and intriguing to me

RPF glasses completely off and thrown into the garbage, I wonder if it's because McLaren still loves Carlos so much. Like, are they mentioning him fondly in a way that feels like a comparison to Oscar? Are they invoking the spirit of Carlando when filming content?
