“Wait, the pigs have names?” Rhiannon frowned at the idea of something they would later be eating having a name. “It’s shockingly disturbing, like seriously?” Really, Who names food? “I’m not eating things with names.”
Carl sighed, Rhiannon wasn't even the first person to complain about him naming the pigs, and he was beginning to understand why it was a bad idea,"I just thought they should have names until....well, y'know," he frowned, "But you're right, I shouldn't have gave them names, they're just food."

She had heard other voices come into the store, multiple sets of footsteps. Luckily, for her, she had already grabbed what she needed, and she planned to stay low until they left, not caring for any kind of confrontation with this group. For all she knew, they were bandits or thugs, not something she wanted to get into. Grace’s footsteps were silent as she slowly backed away from the aisle she was in, bow with a loaded arrow in hand, just in case. It wasn’t the usual gurgle and groan of the dead that made her turn around, but the contact her body came in with another’s. Within a millisecond her arrow was set to lodge through the kid’s skull. Breathing a sigh of relief to herself Grace scoffed, “D’ya really think it’s necessary to give a shit attitude to someone with an arrow aimed between your eyes?” she retorted, relaxing her arms but keeping herself prepared to shoot.
He couldn't help but roll his eyes at her retort, "Maybe if I thought you were an actual threat I'd keep my mouth shut but it seems to me you're not planning to shoot me any time soon," he told her, gesturing at the arrow that was no longer being aimed towards his head but the ground instead. He crossed his arms, looking the woman up and down, glancing at the shopping cart next to her, "You have a group?" Carl asked, even though it seemed odd that any group would send only one person out to get supplies. He knew he should've been yelling for the others, Daryl especially, but he figured he could handle this one on his own, after all, it was just a woman with a couple of arrows; he could shoot her if it came down to that.
My wisdom teeth are coming in and they hurt like hell so I'm gonna get offline for a bit and take a nap or something.
I have several replies saved in my drafts but if you would like to start a thread with me you can either post a starter in my tag or like this and I'll make one when I get back on!
See ya guys.

Carl sat down next to his sister, smiling gently, "Hey," he greeted, before frowning, "Why aren't you hanging out with the other kids? I think they're having story time right now, you could join them." He knew his sister had a hard time getting along with the Woodbury kids, and he personally didn't like any of them, but he still tried to get her to interact with them so that she could do normal kid stuff for once.

Carl was out on a run with a few other people from the prison; collecting the necessary supplies as well as any comic books he could manage to find. He was flipping through a Wolverine comic he found on the ground of the store when he bumped into another moving figure causing him to immediately grab for his gun, mentally cursing at himself for not being prepared for any stray walkers, when he realized the thing he bumped into was alive as well and pointing a weapon towards him as if he was just another one of the dead. Breathing out a sigh of relief that he hadn't been caught off guard by a walker, he held his hands up in front of him to show he meant no harm, but he could still easily grab his gun if the woman in front of him made any wrong moves. "D'ya really think it's necessary to point that thing at me? I'm not gonna shoot you....unless you try anything dumb."

"So I found this dog while on a run. Hope no one at camp minds that I’m gonna keep her."
"Don't ya think we have enough mouths to feed already?"

Guess who's back from the dead?
It's been a good 5-6 months since I've posted anything on this account but after the new season started I couldn't help but feel the need to start using this account again. I considered making a different account, maybe a Daryl one, but decided to stick with Carl because I feel like I can play him best. So yes, this is my post just to let other TWD roleplayers know that this Carl is now an active account!

Carl was on a run, he was supposed to be picking up baby formula at a near by pharmacy for his little sister; Judith, but he wasn't exactly rushing back to the prison like he was told to do. He was taking his time because he knew the prison would be just as overly populated by strangers as it was before he left. He wasn't a big fan of the Woodbury people staying at the prison and unlike his dad, he didn't trust any of them.
His thoughts of the prison were interrupted when he heard the familiar sound of a moaning and groaning walker, he froze where he was, listening carefully for anymore sounds. After a few moments of silence he turned around slowly, only to meet eyes with one of the dead about ten feet away from him. His mouth dropped open but he quickly grabbed for his gun, pointing it towards the approaching walker and steadying his slightly shaking hands. He wasn't normally nervous or scared around walkers, he had gotten used to killing them after awhile, but the walker that snuck up on him gave him a bit of a scare.
He was just about to pull the trigger when a gun shot went off from behind him, killing what he was about to kill himself. He turned around quickly, still pointing his gun in front of him just in case what had shot the gun was a threat to him as well. He stared at the shooter for a moment, surprised to see another living breathing person in what looked to be a town abandoned long ago. "Don't come any closer or I'll shoot!" he found himself shouting, still slightly surprised that he managed to run into someone else. "You're not bit or scratched, are ya?" he added on, a question that his dad had taught him was necessary to ask in such a situation.
Jacinda's wide blue eyes snapped up to find a boy with a gun standing a few feet away and her expression quickly changed from one of fear to a scowl, slowly lowering her bow. "Jus' leave me alone kid. I ain't done nothin' to you, all I want is to get out o' here." She replied flatly, standing up as she rested her arrow back into the quiver strapped to her back. "Away from the likes of you and whoever the hell yer with."
He squinted his eyes at her as she spoke, trying to judge if he could trust her or not. He didn't dare drop his gun, no matter what the stranger said about just wanting to get out of there, "You seriously think I'll just let ya go?" he asked, stepping forward and aiming his gun towards her head, "You haven't done anything yet but I don't know you or who you're with."
She shifted her feet a bit, still looking at the younger boy. "What's a young kid like you doing out here?" she asked hoping to get he conversation off her, "Do you have a group?" she asked knowing she mostly would get the same answer she gave him.
Carl rolled his eyes at her question, "I'm not that young, I'm thirteen," he told her. He knew telling her about his group wouldn't be a good idea so he just grinned and shot back, "I asked you first," still hoping to learn more about where she came from and who she was with.
Beth wasn’t sure what she heard at first. She thought she was the only one awake, but that wasn’t true apparently. Well, Judith was awake too which was what had woken Beth up in the first place. She looked around a bit before she went back to getting the infant back to sleep. Then she heard the noise again. “Someone there?” she asked, hesitantly.
Carl couldn't sleep no matter how hard he tried so he decided to leave his cell and go see if anyone else was still awake. Most people were asleep, just his luck. But just when he was about to head back to his cell he spotted Beth holding Judith in her cell. He smiled to himself before entering the small room, "Just me," he told her, looking down at his sister in her arms. "Is Judith okay?" he asked, just to make sure.

“I know.. I know..” Lori’s voice shook as she watched her sons eyes fill with tears. She buried her head in his exposed hair “It’s okay…”
Carl began to calm down when his mom held him close to her, "Dad doesn't ... he doesn't understand," he whispered, leaning his head against her shoulder.
She listen to him looking around every once and a while to make sure no biters where creeping up on them. She shrugged, "Does it matter?" she didn't want to tell the stranger that she was alone because if he did have a group things could easily turn out bad.
Carl shrugged, he expected a reply like that, "I was just wondering," he explained, even though he really did want an answer. If there was another group near by then that would only mean more problems and if Rae was alone then she was obviously more dangerous than she appeared to be if she could survive in this world on her own.
